"Stephen was amazing. Really showed hospitality making sure we had everything we needed. Even called ahead to advise of weather conditions. The set up of the cabin is definitely all inclusive for a romantic getaway. I loved the isolated location and the beautiful nature scenery. We are definitely making this our getaway spot. Every detail was thought out and anticipated "

"We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. Convenient to Lexington to see all the history in the town. The drive out to the house is awesome, very remote but we still felt very safe. Deer were everywhere. Big yard for the dog to play as well. We would definitely stay here again."

"River’s Bend was one of our favorite western VA cabin stays to date. Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property. The cabin is so cozy, the beds firm and very comfortable. I slept so well every night. We loved the screened in porch, and the river lookout off the tiered back deck.
