"We loved our stay at this quiet and peaceful lodge in the woods! Perfect for our family getaway. We spent our days exploring nearby beaches and trails followed by evening soaks in the hot tub in the private and tranquil backyard. The house is spacious with a large kitchen for meal preparation and a comfortable living room with wood stove fireplace for relaxing evenings. Highly recommend!"

"The house itself is lovely and comfortable. The views from large windows that face the ocean leave you entertained as the sky and ocean conditions change and animals peak from the waves, or land on the flowery lawn. The interior is cozy and the master bedroom is roomy. We used the kitchen to prepare many meals. There is abundant plateware and pots. The laundry is conveniently locayed by the kitchen. We cant wait to return."

No frills but everything you need is available and the hosts are very helpful and gracious. Very short drive to the beautiful surrounding areas and easy to find the property."

"Just what we were looking for -- quiet, right on the ocean, lot of windows and balcony looking over the ocean (saw seal, otters, orcas swimming by, along with sea birds and Bald Eagle, deer right outside the door), personal hot tub on the deck each evening. Just basic kitchen stuff (microwave, no oven/stove) -- but that's what we expected. 9 miles (15 minutes) to Sooke -- groceries, restaurants, etc. Lots of beaches all up and down the coastal road.We stayed 4 nights."

"Beautiful home with a great view. Had everything we needed. Pros: good distance to check out Cape Flattery and shi shi beach. Lots of room in the house. The view from the hot tub and kitchen were amazing. 3 bathrooms were nice. Lots of blankets. House was clean. Pool table was fun. Cons: hot tub wasn’t on when we got there, had to fill a bit and wait for it to heat for a day.
