"As with most Bowen Island stays, to get up to the suite, a steep grade hill is navigated. With our Subaru it wasn’t an issue. The unit is brand new, modern, and clean. I know they are still getting things in place so a few touches/items were missing that we are used to having at our stays like cooking oil, face cloths, a dish cloth, and a binder with info. about the unit. However, when we asked for the cloths, they were provided. Had trouble with the lock but it was resolved the next day. It’s...

"Great spacious property with a great full kitchen. Teen loved pool table. Cleaning job wasn’t that thorough. Fridge had not been wiped out after last guests and the cupboard handles and hoodfan etc were kinda gross. I had to give the fridge and kitchen a good wipe before I could unload but otherwise the place was nice. Comfy beds. The deck floor needs a good power wash or something but wasn’t too bothered by that."

"I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

"The neighborhood is lovely with beautiful, large homes with a peek of the bay. The space Brian has created feels just like home. Nice decor and touches throughout. We're happy we chose this property after looking at several choices. It was just a few minutes drive to Departure Bay to catch the ferry to Vancouver."

Everything you could possibly need including keurig coffe maker, air fryer, and bbq, plus so many nice touches like a fruit bowl with chips, popcorn, and chocolates, pop in the fridge, and blankets for sitting out in the comfy chairs watching the orcas. We absolutely loved it and will be back to find more inner peace!"
