This Seaside vacation rental is the perfect place to settle into for a few days. You will love spending the days out and about just as much as you'll enjoy relaxing on the comfy couches in this adorable beach cottage. The Edgewood Escape is a duplex set right into a friendly residential neighborhood and is within walking distance to the beach, a golf course, shopping, and restaurants. Seaside is about 80 miles from Portland and offers beautiful sandy beaches and unprecedented views. With a private hot tub in the backyard, your family will feel right at home in this lovely retreat!

This duplex offers a little bit of luxury with lots of comforts. The inviting living room features a gas fireplace for those chilly nights and a huge breakfast bar where you and your family can sip coffee while waiting for the sun to rise. You will love the fully-equipped kitchen that opens up to the living room so that the cook doesn't have to miss the movie on the flatscreen while popping the popcorn! The counter has five stools, so whether you are mixing cocktails or serving scrambled eggs, everyone will be able to join in on the fun! In between the kitchen and the living room is an elegant dining table with four padded chairs. The living room will be your gathering place after a long day at the beach. With a flatscreen television, gas fireplace, and an overstuffed sofa, you and your guests can put your feet up and relax, whether you decide to watch your favorite cable show or surf the night for some new recipes.

Things to Know
Up to two dogs (weighing up to 30 pounds each) are welcome.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Kitchen great, bathrooms great! Beds are terrible, need replaced! Carpet is stained everywhere with urine from animals. The urine stains make the house feel dirty. Location is very nice and in a great neighborhood.

The duplex was in a very good location and would be a really nice property if a lot of improvements were made. The carpet throughout the place is stained and appears very dirty, we didn’t feel comfortable in our socks. Both of the beds had mattresses that felt like sleeping on box springs and was very uncomfortable, the bedding was clean. Advertised fire pit was absent but the hot tub was super clean. The bathrooms and kitchen was clean but some of the dishes were dirty inside the cupboards.

Say what now? That’s disgusting

Check in was good, Checking out was a nightmare. Master bed was urine and blood stained. Called Vrbo and that became another nightmare. Trining to charge us pet fees when the listing states if you are within the limits pet fee in INCLUDED. No one wanted to discuss the discussing mattress. And… it’s lumpy too.like holes. Hot water is short lived and very hot hot be careful.

Great time with our stay, cleanliness was rated 3.5 due to dead bugs, cobwebs and smell. Would recommend more privacy for hot tub. Garage door bolt broke free and a bolt hit my vehicle. Also had to ask a homeless gentleman on drugs to stop digging through outside recycle for cans at 6:30am our first morning there. Great location and beach access otherwise and did enjoy our stay. Lots of good laughs. thank you

Almost perfect!

Great location, great layout, comfortable. However I have to mention that my grandchildren found small colorful candies on the floor under the dining room table. Unfortunately that could be very dangerous. Better cleaning please.

Fun stay

We had a great time! The property was great, loved the hot tub and big master bath. We enjoyed cooking meals and having access to a washer/dryer with our little one. There was a lot of space, our dog loved the backyard as well! It was nice and close to the beach, only a short drive into town! My only complaint would be the beds, they need to be replaced. They were very uncomfortable and sinking in, in spots. Overall very good experience!

Annual Friends' Surf Trip to Seaside

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this cozy 2 bedroom home. Loved the fireplace and the hot-tub to warm us up following such wet, cold weather! Stocked with lots of towels. 10 minute walk to the boardwalk where the beautiful beach is. Nice quiet neighbourhood as well, off the main road.

NOT worth the price

Things that were noticed during our stay: • Unable to check-in at 4 as the cleaning service was there until 4:15 • 2 unopened bags of snack sized Cheetos were left in the kitchen from prior guests • Bowel movement not flushed was found in the guest toilet • Left window broken in master bedroom, had to be held up by a book • Extremely bad wet dog smell coming from master closet • Dirty box fan layered with dust on the back, which we had to use since it was 90 degrees • Stained carpeting throughout the house • Jets in hot tub only working at about 10% Excellent location, but more work needs to be done to this place to justify paying the asking price per night.

Very expensive for what we got. It needs some love...new flooring, painting and furniture...

We really loved the location and hot tub, but everything just seemed dirty. Yard needs some love. It's not a big yard, so it shouldn't take much.
