"Lovely stay great breakfast"

"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "Plenty of parking, lovely room. Friendly staff. Only downside.... I'm gluten free and they didn't have any GF cereal but i was able to have a full english breakfast and they had GF bread and sausages. Nice touch in the room was biscuits, but again i had stated on the booking that i was Gf so it would have been a nice to have left a packet of GF biscuits. Only 12 minutes drive from main area of Matlock town. "

"Just stayed for 1 night fo the airport. Lobby lacked atmosphere. It needs some quiet music. Room was absolutely roasting. We hardly slept due being unable to turn down the air conditioning despite it being on low"
