King Parrot Retreat - Base of Buller

This cosy and modern four bedroom, two bathroom home boasts comfort and style and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Suitably named, we hope you will get to experience the King Parrots that like to visit the back decking area and surrounding trees. A lovely sight to see!

In Winter, head to the snow and spend a fun filled day skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing with the kids. Come home and hang up the wet weather gear in Drying Room Onsite.
Go for a bush walk or simply keep cosy indoors, relaxing on the couch by the crackling of the wood fire reading a book or watching a movie.
For that real country feel, take the kids and toast some marshmallows outside by the designated fire pit *conditions apply

All bedrooms have heating as well as a wood fire and split system in the main living area

In Summer, head out to one of the local swimming holes for a splash around, or up to Mt Buller for some mountain bike riding run. Mirimbah Park is only a couple of minutes away so pack a picnic, pack your bathers and a fishing rod and enjoy the relaxing setting right on the banks of the Delatite River.

Cook up a storm in the modern fully equipped kitchen, on sit on the deck while the BBQ sizzles away. Then gather together around the dinner table sharing the stories and making memories of the day’s events.

Suitable for a couple of families, King Parrot Retreat is really a home away from home. A great base to set off from to explore what the High Country Mountains, Rivers and Lakes have to offer. Or simply stay at home, relax & enjoy the natural peace and watch the sunsets from the verandah and stargaze into the clearest of night skies.

NB: King Parrot Retreat is located next door to Blackwood Chalet. The property layouts mirror image each other (besides a couple of small differences) so if you have a larger group booking (up to 20 guests) then booking both properties this is a great option.
