  • The Bell Tower Loft está aceptando reservas nuevamente después de una estadía prolongada que dura más de un año. El Bell Tower Loft se completó en 2010. Al igual que su hermana Loft de al lado, está llena de detalles originales combinados con características de diseño moderno. En todo el espacio es evidente el compromiso de preservar el pasado.     Construido en 1889 como Iglesia Episcopal de San Pablo por el arquitecto Eric Eichberg, esta propiedad histórica acogió congregaciones variadas durante el siglo pasado antes de caer en mal estado alrededor de 2002. La restauración comenzó en 2005 y el MIddle Loft se completó junto con el exterior en 2008 y el Bell Tower loft en 2010. Los lados exteriores, cubiertos de estuco, fueron restaurados con revestimiento de chipre. El pino vintage original fue recuperado del techo y los lados para ser utilizado en la construcción interior. Los contrafuertes y el campanario, ambos desaparecidos durante décadas, fueron reconstruidos a partir de fotografías históricas. Alrededor del 50% de las vidrieras fueron reemplazadas por vidrios de restauración, los monumentos sobrevivientes fueron restaurados donde fue posible.

    El interior fue diseñado para fluir hacia arriba y hacia afuera, proporcionando diferentes puntos de vista para ver los detalles originales. El techo original y las columnas de soporte proporcionaron el marco para un concepto de diseño minimalista, acentuando aún más la notable artesanía de la época victoriana. Las vidrieras se combinan con resultados sorprendentes para crear una sorprendente cantidad de calor para un volumen de espacio tan grande. La yuxtaposición de lo antiguo y lo nuevo crea un equilibrio confortable, dando al Loft la verdadera sensación de un hogar.

Wonderful!

The property is beautiful. The house is well stocked and comfortable. The historic detail in the house and property is breathtaking. The location was also really nice. The park was walking distance. We had a very nice trip. I recommend this property and hope to stay again.

One of a Kind!

We had an amazing stay at this historic, restored church! It was large, comfortable and full of history! The location is walkable to everything, especially Forsyth Park. Highly recommend!

Savannah Getaway

Loved staying in a historic church. The floors and woodwork were unbelievable. The overall architecture was stunning. We loved the openness of the space and the decor was very nice and functional.

Wedding guest weekend

This beautiful unit was the perfect stay and added to the unique Savannah experience. The stained-glass windows were stunning, especially at night, and then as they lit up the loft in the morning. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Great hosts, great time just went too fast. Can't wait to visit again.

Fabulous Stay

We had an incredible stay at The Bell Tower Loft. The decor and furnishings were lovely - a combination of modern and antique. So cozy inside. And so convenient to Forsyth Park and all the sites of historic Savannah. Our host was thoughtful and checked in with us. A perfect vacation. We will definitely be back!

My sister and I had a wonderful time in Savannah. The Bell Tower was better in person than even the pictures showed. It was so charming. Damien and Kevin were quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend this beautiful property.

A writer’s retreat!

This is such a beautiful home and in a great location. Although we were minutes away from so many places, cafes and restaurants, and things to do, honestly we spent most of our time in the bell tower, hanging out in the cozy living space and cooking meals together. Would definitely make a return visit! Thanks Kevin for maintaining this lovely historic building and providing great customer service.

A stunning property in historic Savannah

My family had a lovely time in this beautiful ex-church. It's close to the park and we enjoyed the Farmer's market on Saturday morning. Nice cafés and restaurants nearby, and Savannah itself is, of course, very pretty. Kevin was very responsive when I couldn't work out all the switches 🙂. Some noise through the partition until late night but overall it was a great place to stay.

Great communication!

Our stay at the Bell Tower was cut short due to a power outage because of Hurricane Helene. Our host was so helpful through the whole process to cancel and get our refund. The property is also beautiful and one of a kind. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property!!

Decided on Savannah for spring break and we were looking for a unique property. This unit was incredible. Dark wood, original floors, stained glass, and our daughter loved the loft. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We’d consider buying it and retiring.

Slice of Heaven - South of Forsyth

Very impressive historic property in a quiet neighborhood just south of Forsyth Park, a very pleasant 1.5 mile walk to downtown. We spent most of our time touring downtown (& its Speakeasies!), eating in the area south of Forsythe Park. We found the website photos to be accurate, but being in this space was exceptional. The host, Kevin, was extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable about the building's renovations. We plan on visiting again soon!

Nice rental for weekend getaway

The property has amazing character and details, and is walking distance to Forsyth Park and nice bars and restaurants. Sound inside the loft carries more than you would expect to neighboring property, but shouldn't be a problem as long as your group talks at lower than normal conversation volume past 11pm.

Gorgeous!

What a unique and beautiful property! We loved the location that was close enough to everything (and the Dot) but a bit away from the busiest parts of town. I brought eye masks after reading about the morning brightness, but I ended up loving being woken up by natural light thru the stained glass windows. We had everything we needed and management was very responsive. Thank you!
