Welcome to Horsepen Creek Cottage. Tucked away on a quiet residential street with access to Horsepen Creek, this cozy home welcomes families with an open floor plan, and a great backyard patio and dock to enjoy the sunshine and serene marsh views. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek and the marsh grass behind the home and from the shade of the breezy dock over Horsepen Creek.

Plenty of room for the whole family in the 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom home. The living area has a sleeper sofa and a large flat-screen TV. The all-new kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything you need to make your favorite vacation meals. The open floor plan invites everyone to relax together with a dining table that seats 4 and counter seating at the kitchen for 4.

All of the bedrooms are on one side of the home. Bedroom 1 has a King-size bed and has an ensuite bathroom with tub and shower combination. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have Queen size beds and each has flat-screen TVs, and the fourth bedroom is furnished with a twin-size bunkbed (perfect for kids of all ages) and has a flat-screen TV. The three bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hall with a tub and shower combination.

The large backyard is fully fenced in, perfect for families traveling with pets and includes an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Bring the party outside in the evening for a cookout on the charcoal grill. Light a toasty fire in the outdoor terra cotta chiminea in cooler months, and take in the sunset over the marsh each night. The covered porch has twinkle lights for enjoying evenings. Sit on the private dock to just enjoy the breeze, or bring your own bait and tackle and drop a line in the creek.

Located on a quiet residential street, with the nearest beach access being about a half-mile away, or about an 11-minute walk. Horsepen Creek is home to many species of native birds that call Tybee home. Bring your bikes, or rent some while you are here. Don't miss Tybee's Memorial Park or the Tybee Lighthouse. This home is pet-friendly. There is parking for up to 4 vehicles. Wifi is available.

Very nice Property! Very well appointed very clean. I love walking out on the dock in the morning with my coffee and just listening to the birds, so peaceful. Looking forward to returning!

Cute cottage

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The cottage was cute, clean, and quaint. We were minutes from the beach and access to restaurants ,stores, and necessities. The dock was a nice addition, though needed a few loose boards replaced. We even fished off the deck after beach days to unwind!

Really enjoyed our stay here!

We took a family trip with our adult children to Tybee Island and found this house to be just what we needed. It was very clean and had everything necessary to cook and hang out and relax after a day at the beach. We really enjoyed the pier in the evenings. Such a great place to sit out and have a good conversation and enjoy the peaceful space. Everything we wanted was right at our fingertips. We would definitely stay again.

Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of storage and the location of the property was perfection. Everyone had their own space and the dock on to the marsh was pure magic. A few items to note--the ice maker was not functional at the time of our rental. Also, the indoor fireplace that was advertised as part of the property was not functional. The kitchen was well stocked. The storage space for items was amazing. I've never stayed anywhere that took time to think about where 6 people were going to hang wet towels and clothes.

Beautiful Island Getaway!

This house was amazing! Had an island feel with the scenic views of the dock and marsh right out back! The house was very clean, inviting, and the perfect size for our family of 4. It was the perfect place for us to hang out together in the open floor kitchen/living area, but also gave us all our own space when we wanted to relax at night by ourselves and unwind. We really enjoyed the backyard where we looked out at the marsh and would look and listen to all the animals throughout the day. The backyard was comfortable and perfect for some time to enjoy the outdoor island life. Definitely was a memorable part of our trip and we would definitely come back again!

Not bad, was just expecting more.

Nice place, but just ok. Wish we could have used the outdoor space however the bugs where crazy. Simply felt vary generic, we stay at house shares for the individuality there was none. The rental company was good, but the owner needs to take care of some house keeping items. The shower in the master bathroom is missing a drain cover and the water pressure was horrible these just a few things that need attention. Like I said not bad just not great.
