Gordon Lane Carriage House

  • New construction "carriage house" on East Gordon Lane. This is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment above the detached garage. The yard area is shared with the main house. There is no shared interior space. Guests will have a private bathroom & full kitchen. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as a TV in the living room. Guests may use one garage spot underneath the apartment. There is a EV charger in the garage for guest use along with a washer and dryer (please bring your own detergent).

    If you have a boat or a trailer you may pay $25 per day extra to park it in the yard next to the carriage house.

    This spot is about half a mile walking distance to Forsyth Park and River Street. It is close to the downtown grocery store (Kroger) as well as many shops and cafes.

The accommodations were lovely - just perfect for a long weekend getaway for two. The location is walkable to Forsyth Park and downtown and an easy drive to Tybee Island.

Apartment was perfect for our one night stay! Great location, had everything you needed and huge bonus was it included parking. Hosts were super responsive and even helped out when I had left something behind. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great place for a couple to stay. Nicely decorated and well equipped in a very convenient location. Parking a minivan in the garage was a bit of a challenge, but it was OK because we didn’t need the car since everything was close enough to walk to for the three days that we were there. We are very happy that we chose this apartment and would highly recommend it.

Excellent location, quiet and safe and made it easy to get around the downtown and surrounding area. It was a really great place to spend the week. The apartment was is excellent shape, clean, and comfortable. The dedicated parking was a great perk! Would (and will) stay there again on our next trip!

Great location for visiting Savannah by foot We parked in the garage and left the car there until we left . It's about 10-15 minutes (walking) to much of the historic district and about 20 to the waterfront. Cottage was well kept and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

Perfect location for walking around Savannah.Had everything we needed. A full size kitchen was nice especially with a Kroger a few blocks away. Having ability to wash clothes was a bonus. It was very quiet and private. Parking was easy and great to be able to park in a garage.

Check-in instructions were particularly detailed and included photos. Very helpful. Nice, quiet location and plenty of room for two. Parking garage space is extremely convenient. Bed was comfortable. AC/heat worked well. We were very happy.

Amazing location

We loved the location and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. The place is very nice and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Incredibly lovely place!

The apartment was very clean and just as pictured everything looked very new. We did not cook there, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. It was a little hard to find because GPS did not take us there. Remember to find the alley behind 517 Gordon.

Great for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful location for a quick couple weekend getaway. Easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go but off the beaten path enough that it was relaxing when we were there. Comfortable bed and clean and well stocked rental. Definitely coming back!
