Garden Level of Grand Savannah Home

Ground level apartment in a grand historic home on famous Gaston Street. Right at the top of Forsyth Park. Gated front courtyard perfect for cocktails.

This garden apartment is 1300 square feet! It has a private kitchen, large living room with pullout sofa, and a bedroom with new King size bed and a wicker daybed.



Parking is on-street and spots are easy to find at this location. Meters are free nights and weekends in this part of Downtown. Meters must be paid during the day on weekdays and can be paid via Park Savannah app or with a 'Visitors Parking Day Pass' available to cover all day/night parking for travelers. Check with the City of Savannah Parking Services for pricing on the Day Pass. This can be purchased from the Visitors Center on MLK, the Parking Services office on Bryan.

Within one block there is non-metered parking for those who prefer not to buy the pass. Shared laundry is available for your convenience right outside your back door in the owner's utility room.

Great location right next to Forsyth Park and within walking distance to all the shops. Parking was very easy; there are spots right out front with cheap meters. Bed was comfy, and the place was mostly clean.

The atmosphere was not welcoming. The furniture was in poor condition and not comfortable. The kitchen was not stacked with usable items to make anything a coffee and possibly reheat in the microwave. The location is fabulous and Savannah is always great.

The apartment is in a great location, easy access, and cute with some antique furniture. There were 3 of us and one person slept on the couch. We found a blanket in the closet but no pillow with a pillow case and the pillows looked old. The shower liner had mildew. There were a lot of rule reminders posted, but no welcoming messages. The towels were well used, not ones I would put out for guests. It was an average experience in the apartment, but with a little effort could be excellent.

This place was so cute! My friends and I loved it. The location was amazing. We felt very safe, and it was walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do. Parking was super easy as well. There’s plenty in front of and around the home. The only thing to note was that there were 2 cockroaches in the bedroom when we got there. Also, the place is a bit dim and lacks lighting. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind.

The apartment was a nice apartment but it takes getting use to having very few windows. Fortunately, it is very easy to get out and enjoy the sites of Forsythe Park and the rest of Savannah.

Great Location in Savannah!

This place was really great for my fiance and Is getaway to Savannah. It was in a perfect location within a block to Forsyth Park and about a 25 min walk to the river. Easy check in and out processes. We would definitely come back!

I would not recommend

Unfortunately, I found cockroaches or palmetto bugs in the apartment during my stay. One of them was alive on the kitchen counter, and I had to throw away some food as a result. I immediately contacted the host and shared photos, expecting support or at least concern. However, his response was dismissive and even sarcastic, saying it wasn't a big deal because the city has many palmetto bugs, and that he couldn’t do anything about it. I’ve attached photos, including screenshots of our conversation, to show the lack of professionalism and care. I would not recommend this place.

Amazing location

Adorable little first floor apartment. We were traveling with our kiddos and was perfect due to the park being a block away. Savannah is adorable and can’t wait to come back :)
