"This was our first stay at McMillan Inn. It was somewhat of an unplanned trip and just by chance we booked one night here. Jackpot!! We booked the Montgomery Room and it was like a storybook dream. The clawfoot tub, the king bed with fireplace, huge windows, and on and on. The property is magical. Sitting on the front porch swing at night with a glass of wine is worth the stay. There was an issue with the smoke alarm in our room that the staff was very helpful with making right and following up on. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there and to help make our experience in Savannah a good one. "The Marshall house is in the heart of the historic District and and we absolutely loved it! Location, location, location. This property is within walking distance of everything you want to visit in historic Savannah. The historic squares, homes, restaurants, and the riverfront area are all easy walking distance. The walking tours, and tour buses are all within a stones throw of the Marshall house. We spent two days there and never checked our car out of valet parking. Glad we stayed there to...

"Breakfast was VERY good. It’s continental, not cooked-to-order, but offers many good options, with coffee and juice. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is mainly on the street. Chuck, the daytime manager, helped us find a space and we didn’t move the car until we left. The historic area is easily walkable and two routes of free DOT buses are available. "

"I was a little bummed this time around. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve come to Savannah. First time though in a 2 bedroom. Sad the windows faced the alley. My room was next to the elevator. Obviously meant lots of noise throughout the day and night. Walls very thin. I must’ve been near a business because I could hear people’s names being called for their order in my bedroom. Also could hear the trash cans/workers in the alley as early as 4am. Also upon first entry a large water bug ran across...
