Short Getaway

Location was perfect and the right size for us. Kitchen was well stocked and had a grill available. Only thing bad I would say is inconsistent water pressure and temperature.

The cabin was a little bit smaller than expected, it wasn’t very good clean on certain areas , the bathtub get clogged every time we use it , I had to use the plunger and a lack of cleaning products was a problem

Good enough for the weekend

Honeybear Haven was cute, and it worked for my husband and I…we were just in the area for the weekend and we were really only at the cabin to sleep. The downstairs TV remote didn’t work, the couch had seen better days, and the extra blanket I used to cover up while sitting down stairs had a weird smell to it. If it were a place we spent more time at during the day or more nights in general I would have been more bothered…but it worked for our quick trip. Also, the road leading to the cabin was pretty rough…we got through it but just beware if you have any low riding cars or nice vehicles.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We came for the weekend for our yearly weekend trip and it was prefect! We arrived really late so it was a little harder to find in the dark, but once we knew where we were going, it was easy! We were not too close, but not too far from Helen. The cabin was super clean and just prefect for us for the weekend! We had a really good time and can’t wait to come back when more of our family can attend!

nice cabin but....

upon arrival at the cabin we discoversd some kind of black gunk coming up from the bathroom sink. Then we checked other drain and the tub would not drain. it was after hours to contact maintaince. the counters and utincles had a greasy feeling to them so I went out and bought some drano safe for septics and put down both drain in bathroom. by morning both were working fine. My wife went thought the cabin with lysol and wiped everything off and we washer utincles as we used them. For a place that was just cleaned before we got there it did not small of any cleaned at all. I took my wife there so she could relax for a week and not have any worries. well that was not the case. we should not have had to wonder was was clean and what was not. After we got everything to where we were comfortable we did enjoy our stay but one again we should not have had to deal with that. So I am asking for at least one days credit for our troubles. I feel that is reasonable and would should credit to you and your company. Thank you Lee Benson

Nice getaway

Over all it was a really nice stay. Location was great!! Bridget was friendly. It had all the necessary things. You just had to bring your food. Upstairs tv worked just fine(for whatever the reason had better signal then the one downstairs.) I would say for family’s with younger kids like 2 or under I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing them. But for a honeymoon getaway it is perfect! For me the only downsides were it could of been cleaned a little better, the blinds were very dusty and the tub stopper had mold on it.

Cute one bedroom loft in the woods

We got in late, but slept comfortably, even through the thunderstorms. The trees shelter the building from direct sunlight, so we slept quite late, even with the blinds open. It was wonderfully dark at night. In the morning, I sat on the porch and meditated near the babbling brook that runs across the property.
