  • RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

    Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #250 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



    Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Awesome view

Very friendly at the front desk, supply beach towels, there are chairs but not a lot, we brought our own and glad we did. Pool is nice, porch was screened in which does distort view some. Overall, great stay and would come back. No elevator, that I noticed anyway, so if you aren’t great with stairs and carrying luggage up keep that in mind.

One of my new favorite places! It was perfect! this place is a little Gem! Super cute, clean right on the beach! close to restaurants, walking or biking distance. Property manager super sweet!! Can't wait to come back!!

There's a bad mold problem in the bedroom. My wife's ear was bleeding, & she got a bad ear/sinus infection. Are de-humidifiers offered? We also wished more trolley stops nearby. Also, wished we had our list of cleaning duties alerted to us b4 we returned home from our 5 hour ride. Coffee for every day of our stay would have been nice, & that powdered creamer is poison if you read ingredients. Parking was good.

The unit is immaculately clean, with beautiful, comfortable furnishings. The view is incredible. The only thing is that the beach chairs could use some cleaning/updating, as some are missing straps or dirty.

The unit was newly renovated and very comfortable. Being on the second floor this time, the views were amazing. The steps were a little tough to navigate with luggage and such but we managed. The management are very responsive and great to deal with. Would definitely stay again!

Great view!

Pleasantly surprised. The unit was brighter and nicer than I expected. The pool was very nice and clean. The only complaint is I whacked both of my knees on the corner of the bed frame in the middle of the night. A little bleach would help get rid of the mildew on the clear shower curtain. Overall great and I would stay there again without a doubt.
