The Longboat Experience

Cozy quarters Nicely decorated Very Quiet Beautiful view of the bay Fantastic pool along with access to pool accessories. Easy walk to ocean across the street. Plenty of chairs at beach area.. Amazing sunsets. Parking was great along with free access of laundry facilities. Manager was accessible and accommodating. Overall a lovely and relaxing stay along with great restaurants in the area.

This was the perfect location for a short trip to Long Boat Key. It was close to Harry’s Kitchens, one of our favorite restaurants and deli. The condo was very comfortable and met our needs.

We love longboat key and there are so many wonderful places to stay. The beach castle was no different. Clean, beautiful bay view, and close to everything you could possibly want on longboat key.

A Quiet Getaway

Our trip was a quick little vacation and Beach Castle was a nice and quiet getaway. We loved the private beach and the fact that there were plenty of beach chairs for our use but unfortunately, there were not enough umbrellas. We noticed someone in a past review mentioned mold in the condo but no one had mentioned smelling mold since that time. When we first got to the condo you were hit with a smell of mold at the front door but as you moved to the bedroom, the smell went away. We could only smell the mold in the front entrance and the living room/kitchen area. The longer you stayed in the unit, the less you could smell it. The unit is cleaned by Merry Maid’s but RVA should probably watch them closer, we noticed tags (from a garment purchased) from a previous guest under the bed. It would have been also nice to have more beach towels, we were given 2 beach towels but had 4 people in our party. We were also given no washcloths. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would like to stay at Beach Castle again but in a different unit.

This is a well-maintained property with a tropical vibe.

The unit was tidy and clean equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils needed whether for a long weekend or months-long visit. Property has both bay and beach access to beautiful white sand of the Gulf of Mexico.

Quick getaway

This was a quick getaway! The property was nice, clean and as advertised. I did try calling and left messages prior to our arrival to see about an early check in but no one ever called me back. As it turned out we had a longer than usual wait for a car rental, got lunch and then went food shopping so the 4:00 check in worked out. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Condo

Perfect for a couple. 14 steps up from dedicated parking spot very near Unit 24. Quiet area. Very clean. Beautiful Bay view. Kitchen small but complete with full size appliances. Comfortable & beautifully decorated. Pictures are accurate. 6 minute walk to Gulf beach across highway with free lounge chairs set up & free umbrellas to borrow. Would love to stay here again!

Beach Castle Resort

We rent on Longboat Key every year to be able to relax at the beach. We have a vacation house in Bradenton, and reside in Wisconsin. My sister, her daughter, my son, and I rented the 2 adult/2 children condo for three nights. We had two vehicles, mine and my sister’s. One of the vehicles needed to be parked 1/4 mile away, as there is only one parking space without room for guest parking at the Condo. My nephew came to visit for a few hours, and didn’t understand the parking directions. He parked in an empty spot next to my vehicle. I received a text stating that if the vehicle wasn’t moved within 2 hours, a “boot” would be applied or the vehicle would be towed. We ended up renting bikes to get to our vehicles, which was fun, but still a huge hassle to park that far away. The king bed was good but the pull out was horrible. The mattress was about 2 inches thick. Everything in the condo was old or very cheap. We were given 4 towels for the stay. Which ended up being ok because we only stayed one night. The beach was across the street and was beautiful, as Longboat Key beach always is. The balcony was nice but again, very cheap furniture. We won’t return to this property.
