Cats spoiled the stay
If you like having a bunch of feral cats around you day and night, this is the place for you. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and also wouldn’t want them in the house at any time. On each occasion that we opened a window or a door, only an inch or so, there was a bunch of cats desperate to get in! So when the sun was shining and we wanted to have doors and windows open we couldn’t. If we sat outside they were also bothering us all the time. We complained to the agent but they couldn’t do anything. The house is nice. The kitchen is far too big and we were always walking a long way from the cooker to the fridge to the cupboards etc. very poor design. There was only one shower, despite the property details saying there were two bathrooms. The route to the property was not clear. Google maps took us up a farm track which was extremely difficult to back down from. There was no hoover, just a small dustpan and brush, and with tiles throughout the place it got dusty and crumby quite quickly. Lovely location and beautiful garden.
