The Blue Heron 30A

A modern 4 bedroom, 4 ½ bath 2-story home, built in 2017 is located only a short flat walk to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. It is a spacious 2200 sqft beach home decorated in a modern coastal style, with 10ft ceilings and white washed oak hardwood floors throughout.

Whether preparing a meal in the well-stocked kitchen, playing games, or lounging on the comfy sectional watching a movie on the Smart TV, memory-making family time is encouraged by the bright, airy, and open floor plan. We have 2 front porches and a secluded back patio with seating and a gas barbecue grill for relaxing outside. 4 bikes are available for your use during your stay.

The home sleeps 9 comfortably with each bedroom having their own bathroom.

Primary BR Upstairs – King bed, double sink vanity, large tiled walk in shower and private porch with daybed, perfect for relaxing with a book or coffee

Full Size Washer/Dryer Downstairs

Designed with family fun in mind, there's something for everyone here. If you are looking to put your toes in the sugar white sand beaches and emerald water, you are a 10 min walk to Ed Walline Public Beach Access which is equipped with parking, bathrooms, outdoor showers, picnic tables, grills and is ADA accessible. Across from the beach access is Gulf Place which offers restaurants like Shunk Gulley with stunning gulf views, shopping, bike rentals and live entertainment. If the pool is more your speed, we are just a few houses away from the community pool which is never crowded because it is only available to the small number of homes on our street. From Gulf Place you have access to the 19 mile paved bike path that parallels the entire length of 30A passing through all the famous beach communities (Dune Allen Beach, Grayton Beach, Seacrest Beach, Seaside, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach).

For shoppers, the Grand Boulevard shops and Silver Sands Premium outlet mall have anything you may want, and there are numerous golf courses nearby and several tennis facilities all within a 15 minute drive.

Note: Parking for 3 cars. No student rentals. Street legal golf carts are allowed on 30A.

Guests pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted in our home.

Grocery stores are less than a 10-minute drive and Publix now has online ordering and delivery to our area allowing you more time to relax and enjoy your vacation.

My family had a great time and the house is really nice. The bedrooms are all spacious and nicely decorated. If I had to add one thing the bathrooms could use more washcloths. Other than that we enjoed our stay and would rent again.

Angela was so accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions we had made our stay even better. The house was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. Very well equipped with anything you could need. Our family loved having the king beds in three bedrooms with on suites in each room. Definitely a beautiful home for a family to vacation in. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Had a wonderful stay. The house has everything needed to make your vacation experience a time to remember. The home was extremely well cleaned and stocked. Angela had the best communication from the day I made the booking all the way through the time we left paradise. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful Beaches

The house was excellent. Incredibly clean and beautiful. Just some FYIs…The beach is a 12 minute walk. Not super easy when it’s 90 degrees and you’re carrying chairs, a tent, pulling a wagon filled with stuff and whatnot. The beach is super crowded. We ended up going to the next beach access down at Spooky lane. MUCH less crowded and 100% worth it. There’s no parking there but we just got dropped off then someone rode a bike back to the beach. No beach chairs so may want to bring your own. There is a lot of noise between floors due to no carpet and high ceilings so luckily we had sound machines because we had a baby. Having the bikes was awesome for our teens. They could go wherever, whenever without us worrying. Overall it was great!

Perfect Home for a Family Beach Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 6 adults and one child. The home was spacious, very clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. There were more than enough towels for beach/pool use and we loved that there were some beach toys for the little one to enjoy!The walk to the beach was easy, about 10 minutes, and the neighborhood was welcoming and safe. We’d recommend renting beach chairs and bringing along your favorite games for evenings or a rainy indoor day.All in all, a fantastic rental for a laid-back, family-friendly beach vacation. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation retreat!

This beautiful house was perfect for 9 of us. We and our family of 6 and friends family of 3 found everything to be just what we hoped for. The beds were comfortable and the ensuites for each bedroom was wonderful. The house was very clean and all the extras for our stay was provided. Location peaceful and great for short drive or walk to town and beach. The info book made everything easier. Great vacation had by all.

Santa Rosa Gem

If you are looking to stay on 30A look no further, just book this house! The location is PERFECT! It is tucked away on a quite street with a private back yard and is just a quick bike ride/walk to the beach. It is also just a minutes walk to the pool! The house is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It was plenty of space for 3 families and a huge bonus that each room had its own bathroom. The house is equipped with everything you could need to enjoy your stay - from the kitchen to the beach (chairs, towels, toys, umbrella). The host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had a great time during our stay at the Blue Heron and are thankful for all the wonderful memories!

Perfect Florida Panhandle Getaway

This is the perfect beach getaway for you and your friends or family. It's just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and several great restaurants and ice cream shops! The house comes with four bicycles that our teens loved riding. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus one more half bath downstairs. How awesome is that!! You will love reading and chilling on that daybed on the upstairs porch! You'll also love the kitchen that comes equipped with all the pots, pans, cookware, dishes and glasses you need. We ate around the big table and watched movies together on the big sectional! Our group of 9 loved this house and the wonderful Santa Rosa beach area so much that we're already talking about coming back. It's right off 30A, which makes for a short drive or bike ride to all the great beach areas and activities. If this is available for your dates, go ahead and book it before it's gone!

Great location

We loved staying here. The property is in a great location. An easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Not in a really busy, touristy area so it was perfect for what we wanted. Hosts were really nice and accommodating. They immediately took care of anything we needed.

Awesome Place!

This place was great. Looks brand new. There was plenty of everything from towels to pots and pans to trash bags. They had everything- beach towels, bikes, boogie boards, etc. The house itself was awesome. Bigger than it looks on TV. All my family thanked me for picking a great place. You will love it!!

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Angela's home. The accommodations met all of our needs and Angela was very quick to reply with answers to our questions. The house is in a great location, very clean and comfortable. If we ever return to Santa Rosa, we would definitely stay again.

Blue Heron

We had a wonderful four-generation vacation at Angela's lovely Blue Heron. Angela communicated throughout the time leading up to check-in and answered all of our questions during our stay. She has such a well-stocked kitchen that you don't need to bring any appliances or kitchen accessories. The house is spacious and comfortable for a large family with king beds and en suite bathrooms in each bedroom, plus the bunkroom and an en suite for the kids. It's just a short ten-minute walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. My whole family had the best time on our vacation in large part to the comfort, amenities, and location that Angela's home offers. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

Great house

We had a family wedding and this listing was perfect location for not only the venue but to everything. I would highly recommended this rental . Very clean, spacious and we lacked for nothing but the steaks we grilled. Very comfortable house for three adult couples and kids. The 3 master bedrooms were perfect for our group. We definitely plan on staying here again in late summer.

Wonderful Stay and Hospitality at Blue Heron!

Our family took a long anticipated and needed week at Santa Rosa, with two children (17 & 20) and their two friends. The property itself was everything advertised and more, spacious, very well stocked, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Communication with Angela was excellent. Very convenient to the Beach (walking distance) and restaurants and shops. My son left some clothes hanging when we left, and Angela was kind to ship them to him at college in Memphis. We truly felt like we were staying with family, and certainly hope to stay again. So thankful for this wonderful experience!

Florida Vacation.

The house was gorgeous!! The location was great for us. Check in process was super easy and Angela was also available if we needed anything. There were 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 2) and we had plenty of space. They supplied beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and toys and that was amazing!!! We were so thankful for that. We also enjoyed riding the bikes that were supplied. We will definitely be back!!!

Surprise 16th birthday

Our family had a perfect stay at the cute gem we found miraculously! Angela was helpful along the way with suggestions etc! The house was light and spacious and fit our family of 9 perfectly! We also used every amenity she offered— the grill and bikes. The upstairs balcony off one of the 3 masters was my favorite spot in the morning to watch the sunrise. Just a 2 min golf cart or bike ride to the beach. It was a perfect location! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your gem in this surreal community! The blue heron was above our expectations! We will definitely book again in the future!

Great home! Great location!

We had two 8-month old twins, a 9yr old, two 7 year old twins and 4 adults. Perfect accommodations for all! Very well equipped and the mattress in the master bedroom (upstairs) was awesome. TV's in all the rooms so the kids could get away and watch movies, play games, etc. Lovely front porch and awesome patio in the back. Plus, you are only 10 minutes from the beach "walking", plus great shops, restaurants in the same area.

Blue Heron Stay for Spring Break 2022

The property was great and was a perfect fit for all 9 of us, including 3 kids who loved the bunk bedroom. I thought the house was even better in person than through the photos. It had a great space and met all of our needs. It's a very short walk to 30A, and close by a lot of local places, and the beach. We had a great time and would stay there again. Angela was great through the whole process and answered a few questions about the area prior to us arriving, and provided some great recommendations.

Great house!

The house was nice and the location was great. We rented a golf cart (not necessary, but lots of fun) and it was a short ride to the beach and a few restaurants. The house was clean (I am very picky about that) and management was very responsive and super helpful. Great experience!

Amazing location with all the comforts of home!

My husband and I, along with our two daughters and their families stayed at The Blue Heron 30A from October 3-9, 2021. We were so impressed with the owner's obvious efforts to make visitors feel at home. From the amazingly well stocked kitchen, to the notebook full of information about the property and surrounding area we lacked for nothing. Special touches like labeling the light switches and having extra beach towels and beach chairs on hand did not go unnoticed. The location (literally minutes from the beach) was great for a family traveling with small children as it was so easy to run back for naptime or to replenish our snack supply. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the near future.
