It was just my wife and I. We didn't use the pool although it did need cleaning. There were no pads for the lounge chairs that we could find. The kitchen was functional and fortunately the mattresses were not rock hard memory foam as we have found in other VRBOs. It was mostly quiet and we utilized the back porch extensively. Overall we had a good stay.

House and over-all experience were excellent. Home was in great condition and our family loved having a private covered pool ourselves. Location was extremely convenient as well with the beach and Seaside within easy walking distance. Check-in and out process was easy. Bikes and beach chairs were waiting for us when we got there.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Thyme. The house was clean and conveniently located to Sea Side and the beach, which was important to us with 2 teenagers we knew would want to hangout with friends in the area. My favorite part of the house was the swimming pool. It is surrounded by a wooded lot that makes it feel so peaceful. I loved reading by the pool while listening to bird song, and the cool water was refreshing after a hot day at the beach.

The internet was non-existent, and while cell service was better, it was still unreliable. The pool was cold, likely due to the many trees covering it, though there was a small sunny spot for one person at a time. The closest beach is three blocks away, but there’s no parking by the road access, so you’ll have to walk. A public beach with parking is about two miles away. If you’re used to driving the golf cart to the beach parking and just getting out it’s better to walk from this location. If you’re staying here, I recommend using the pool heater, which costs 50 a day. Overall, it wasn’t a bad spot, but it didn’t meet my standards without the internet, which also powers all the TVs in the house. I hope they resolve this issue before the next guests arrive, as having two kids without TVs was challenging for us, even though we spent a lot of time out. It would have been nice to have internet or TV when we returned from the beach or pool. Additionally, the pool is screened, but the back screen was torn, allowing mosquitoes to enter and forcing us out of the pool twice.
