Enjoy the charming rockers and swing on the front porch as you listen to the waves of the ocean.The lush green landscape provides a shady retreat in the hot summer days. Close to the beach 150 yards, upon return an outside shower will be waiting.

This property is strictly an animal-free zone due to severe allergies

mold,fungus, bacteria, virus, odors

Many extras are provided : Wi-Fi, Satellite TV with smart TV,books puzzle, games, bikes,, beach gear, everything you need to make a gourmet meal, luxury amenities including cookware and knives, Bosch appliances for your use. There is a ceiling fan in each room.

Goose down and synthetic pillows available for your comfort. Back deck with furniture

There is a free standing Carriage House behind the Cottage with 2nd floor apartment that is also available to rent. The apartment could be rented during your stay in cottage

Perfect Location

Close walk to the beach. For wedding venues its a 13 minute walk to Monet Monet. Everything we needed was in the house . Well supplied bathrooms and kitchen. Super clean.

Beautiful Traditional Beach Home

My son and I had a relaxing 3 day stay. The house is on the historic registry, a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The home was very clean, extremely comfortable, with a well stocked Kitchen!

Spotless! Classic old school beach town vibe!

This bungalow in the heart of Grayton was perfect for walking to the beach and restaurants. The home was absolutely spotless and the old world southern beach town charm was perfect for a relaxing weekend. I took several pics to use when we build our retirement house. We had a minor issue that was addressed asap. Great host who responded quickly. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great location! Perfect spot for our crew.

Over all excellent location, and space was great. Owner showed up at 10, and surprised we weren’t gone when check out is at 11, and seemed annoyed we hadn’t left yet. We had previously communicated we would be leaving at 11am.

This is our second time staying with Richard in this adorable home. This is quite frankly the perfect, comfortable and quaint home at Grayton! Easy walk to the beach and perfect spot to stay!

Beautiful home, perfect location.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home & the location was perfect! Easy walk to the beach & restaurants. Grayton Beach is gorgeous. Enjoyed bike rides around the neighborhood and swinging on the front porch. Definitely planning another stay!

We Enjoyed Our Stay

It's great having the extras of bikes and other beach items in the garage. My wife noticed a mildew smell in parts of the house, mostly near the main bath and bedroom. It is a cozy place and about a 10 minute to the beach (we went past Red Bar to the boardwalk, which seemed to be the easiest). We would stay there again.

Convenient location

Walking distance to beach and shops which was wonderful since parking is a challenge in Grayton. Communication was extremely prompt. Would stay here again! Note - it’s on the busy road into/out of town so traffic is frequent. Bring earbuds or noisemaker to drown it out if a light sleeper.

Great location in Grayton

The location of the property at Grayton beach was great. Easy to walk to the restaurants and the beach. Property had beach chairs and a wagon which made the short walk even easier. Outdoor space at property is nice and feels private even on the Main Street. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small and one of our teenage boys opted to take the pullout couch instead of sharing the room. The breakfast room is light and our favorite place to be in the house. Easy communication with Richard throughout our stay

Decent spot but wouldn't stay again

We liked the spot. The home is a cute little Bungalo. It is decorated well and they provide the necessities to make it feel more like home. That said, it could be better managed. Our issues: 1. No internet - the router was completely fried and there was no attempt to replace it before out time was out. 2. Significant mold growth in and around the A/C registers. This is something that i didn't make a big deal about because i couldn't change it, but it was bad. There were green and black blooms all over the ceilings around the A/C registers, especially in the bedroom. 3. The driveway was blocked by a debris pile from some apparent work going on. The deck was all cleared of furniture, etc. Again, i didn't make a big deal about it but for the cost of the rental it should have been addressed prior to us showing up.

Great location

First of all the location in Grayton Beach was great. Close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. Owner and property manager were friendly , quick to respond to issues and even went out of their way to mail me my pillow that I forgot. The house was really cute, nice decor and wonderful amenities like full kitchen, washer/dryer and even all the beach equipment available. If I am being perfectly honest the only thing that would keep me from staying here again was exactly what a few other reviewers already pointed out. I had assumed that the owner would have addressed these issues but unfortunately we found the same thing. Mainly that the cleanliness was less than perfect. The house could really use a good deep clean. There was pretty much dust in every corner & tops of the baseboards and base of toilets. Living room furniture is well worn and a few stains. And while the keyless entry is very convenient, it felt a little unsettling not having an extra deadbolt on the door at night. Not that we were scared in Grayton but it’s just something that helps us sleep at night. The property manager said that they were planning an update in August. If those issues were addressed we would love to stay here again in the future.
