Welcome to Casa Los Dos, a breathtaking 2015 Historic Preservation Award-winning home that offers an extraordinary blend of modern luxury and classic Santa Fe charm. Nestled on over one-third of an acre on the iconic Acequia Madre in the historic Eastside, this meticulously remodeled property stands as a testament to authentic New Mexican architecture. The home is ideally located just a short stroll from Canyon Road’s renowned art galleries, and within walking distance to the famed Geronimo’s, El Farol, Caffe Greco, and the Historic Plaza. A quick 5-minute drive puts you in the heart of downtown Santa Fe, making it the perfect base for exploring the best the city has to offer.

Originally built in the 1930s, Casa Los Dos underwent a painstaking renovation, earning the prestigious "Best Historic Remodel of 2015" award from the city of Santa Fe. The property seamlessly blends historical elements like smooth plaster walls and vigas with modern upgrades, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The open, airy living spaces are designed to capture the essence of Santa Fe style, with multiple indoor and outdoor fireplaces adding to the cozy, authentic feel of the home.

The main house features three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a fourth bedroom with a trundle bed, ideal for children.

The Casita, a full two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat, is perfect for guests seeking privacy. With its own kitchen and washer/dryer, the Casita offers a fully self-contained experience, while still providing access to the main house for larger gatherings.

The main house includes an upscale chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Subzero appliances, stone counters, and brick and stone floors throughout. Two indoor fireplaces and one outdoor fireplace provide warmth and charm, while the spacious outdoor patio and portaled sitting areas offer the perfect setting to unwind.

The entire compound, which spans nearly 4,000 square feet, comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with a layout that is ideal for families or couples traveling together. The bedrooms include two king beds, two queen beds, two twin beds, and a trundle bed, ensuring ample space for all. A rare two-car garage on the Eastside adds convenience, and additional off-street parking is available. Other amenities include A/C in both the main house and guest house, separate security systems, and both baseboard and in-floor radiant heating, ensuring comfort throughout the year.

We were impressed by the two homes - their layout, complete kitchen supplies, lovely furnishings and the convenient, quiet location. We had minor miscommunications with the rental agency primarily regarding check in time and a "full mailbox" when trying to return a call, but issues were resolved when we were able to speak with them in person.

Great property and a great location

We stayed here for our annual friend reunion. The property was in great condition and tastefully furnished. It offered lots of communal space but also privacy. The neighborhood was great, charming and quiet but also close to Canyon Road and the heart of Santa Fe. We highly recommend this property to others.

Spacious Home Great Location

The home was lovely. The main house has a well equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The casita has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There were multiple outdoor seating areas. Walking distance to galleries, coffee shop, and restaurants. Truly a lovely home.

Family Reunion in Santa Fe

This is the second reunion we've had in Santa Fe in six years, it is a central location in a nice location. We need lots of bedrooms / bathrooms, large kitchen and dining area. This property was the right combination of separation and common areas between the two houses. Unique space in a quiet neighborhood, would visit again!

Perfect girlfriend getaway house

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 9 had a wonderful time in this property! Our older children stayed in the guest house we had 5 that stayed in the main house. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch every morning and evening. We were also walking distance to great restaurants and shopping on Canyon road. Would highly recommend this property! We will book again!

Amazing and Peaceful Location

The pictures really do not do this property justice. It is far more beautiful than the pictures captured. It is also larger than it looks. I was worried we'd be cramped, but we had sooo much space in the house. With four patio areas (two with beautiful Kivas), there was also a ton of space to stretch outside, too. The house was so close to everything...an easy walk to food and galleries. Even the Plaza is less than a mile away. Despite how close it is to everything, it was one of the most peaceful places we've stayed in. We would definitely rent it again if we were in Santa Fe.

Great girls get away!

Seven friends converging for a week of exploration, hiking, cooking class, local cuisine & cultural ingestion of all things Santa Fe! Location was ideal to live like a local in a charming neighborhood for morning walks and steps away from Canyon Rd ( Art gallery row) with coffee & tea houses & fantastic restaurants. Plenty of room ( loved the Casita) to spread out and meet up around one of two outdoor fireplaces. The home is fully renovated but has kept true to its rich history.

A perfect little retreat in a perfect little neighborhood

This house was *ideal* for our gathering of five couples. Everyone had their own bedroom, the kitchen was fairly well-appointed for cooking meals together, and there was ample hang-out space in the main living room. The Casita also provided a good space for the relatively more introverted couples to have some downtime. 10/10 would stay again.

A wonderful getaway!

This property was immaculate. Sprinkled with amazing art on the walls, high-end kitchen appliances, and beautiful decor, our stay was refreshing and serene. Historic house in great location

We really got a feel for Santa Fe by staying at the historic Casa Los Dos. It was well located near Canyon Road and in walking distance to the Plaza and so many restaurants. Having two rooms with bathrooms in the casita as well as 3 rooms and bathrooms in the main house was perfect for our large family gathering. We definitely highly recommend this house.
