"The apartment was clean and in a very good position for getting around the island. It would have been helpful to have a few more details about the property e.g Wi-Fi code and the crockery and cutlery could have been a little more extensive . Nice undercover seating area where we were able to eat our meals and enjoy the lovely weather . The road is very steep !!"

"The roof of the accomodation / conservatory lean-to was a tarpaulin. There was an entire louvre door with no glass so there was no insulation from wind up the mountain which rattled the tarpaulin roof. The Jacuzzi never worked and the shower leaked into the bath and flooded the room. No sound insulation from barking dogs or heat insulation and no heater. No television and no Wi-Fi. No restaurant. Five layers of duvets and blankets at night because it was so cold. Toilet did not work...

"The apartment has plenty of room and is well furnished with all necessities. I especially appreciated the electric recliners for my six week stay! Guido is a very conscientious host and if you are not renting a car, will pick you up at the airport as part of his stellar service. And when I arrived, I was welcomed with a wonderful homemade cake. "Property was excellent with ample facilities. However, due to our late arrival at the location there was no food available as a starter pack. This would have been extremely useful as we were unfamiliar with the area and the location of any food outlets. It was dark on our arrival so difficult to establish where to go. "Eine wunderschöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage umgeben von Restaurants und Supermärkten. Ca. 10min bis zum Strand (Reis Magos), Bushaltestelle nach Funchal direkt an der Unterkunft. Einen Stern Abzug, da ein Schlafzimmer nur ein kleines Fenster zum Kippen zum Wohnzimmer hin hat, jedoch nicht nach aussen. Ansonsten ein ruhiges Haus."

"The apartment was excellent, being spacious and good quality and having everything within it for our stay. There is easy parking in front of the apartment block and it's only 5 minutes from the main autoroute for travelling around the island. There are a number of good restaurants nearby, otherwise it's a fairly quiet area. Highly recommended. "
