"Pomme Cannelle is a small hotel of five rooms in a newly renovated property only a few minutes from the beach in Orient Bay. It is run by French couple Pauline and Jeremy, who are perfect hosts. We got a very warm welcome and they took good care of us throughout the stay. The rooms are nice and spacious and we had an outdoor kitchen with a patio that was really nice for morning coffee. "Had a delightful one-night stay at Tiko Lodge SXM a hidden gem away from the resort chaos. The peaceful ambiance, cleanliness, and warm hospitality of the hosts were impressive. The distant yet very close ocean sounds and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. Although I usually opt for big resorts, Tiko Lodge SXM has changed my perspective. I plan to return, hopefully for an extended stay. Only drawback: no TV in the room, hence the four-star rating.~~ Monet"

"Property sits very high up in a nice neighborhood - you’ll be surrounded by nature and it feels as if you are staying in a jungle. We even saw a couple of monkeys nearby. Both our room and common areas were clean & comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
