Hidden Paradise in La Garita with Private Pool

Gated community , This beautiful La Garita Spanish Colonial 3 BR Home is located in a pristine guarded community in La Garita de Alajuela. Very attractive well-maintained home and property, perfect for those who enjoy the comfort and privacy combined with a leisure lifestyle. The location is perfect: surrounded are all plant-fruit trees nurseries, shopping areas, and restaurants at close range, medical facilities close by, easy access to hwy 1, 3, and 27, the international airport is a 20-minute drive, Atenas at 15 minutes. The double-lot property measures in total 1573 m2 (0.4 acres), is beautifully landscaped, and totally fenced in with 4 security cameras. We have smartly made full use of the land and created a truly relaxing family retreat. This 3800 sq.ft (350 m2) home has a beautiful flow with many attractive details. There is a spacious living/dining room that connects to the kitchen and also directly to the outside living areas and gardens. The large master bedroom has its own 4Pc ensuite and large walk in closet. The Second Bedroom also has a walk-in closet and shares a full 3Pc bathroom with Bedroom three , both Bedroom 2 and 3 have Beautiful view of lush backyard and pool. The backyard is designed to be a fun and entertaining retreat with several sunny and shaded areas. There is an oversized swimming pool with a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower, a funky surfer Ranchito, and a large beach-sports bar-style rancho with a grilling area and comfortable lounge seating. This extremely well-maintained home is waiting for your family vacation. Note: Price includes 4 guest and is extra $20 per day/visit to maximum of 8. I will permit kids daytime birthday parties 10am to 5pm.up to 50 people. Lots of parking. Beautiful home

We were only here overnight but the grounds are beautiful with large mango trees in the back. Nice pool and hot tub with cabana area. There were no food options open early so pack snacks to eat if you are staying for a while until you can get to a store or restaurant. You would need a driver or car. Ubereats might be an option but again nothing seemed to be open before 10am. My kids loved the play nook in the house.

Beautiful home and pool

Unfortunately didn't check in until late due to getting a little lost. Was able to take a quick dip in the beautiful pool before thunderstorm rolled in and went to bed early for our flight. Woke to birds singing and left. So didn't get to enjoy the lovely yard and pool as much as I wanted.

Garita nice and easy stay near airport

Lovely private home in gated community so felt very safe. Great communication with owner. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, in the description it does show one room with 2 singles, not the case, but we made do! Great restaurant, Casa Mia close by I would recommend for dinner.

Hiiden peace

Hidden Paradise is a peaceful oasis. A large, roomy residence and safe enough to have all the doors and windows open to benefit from the lvely breeze. No air conditioner needed. The kitchen on the dark side but opening the garage door somewhat brightens the day. Kitchen utensils, glass wear could us a bit of TLC. The garden a true oasis to spend the day in.

Great family getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was a great size for our family (including our 3 teenage kids). The backyard and pool felt like a mini resort. I enjoyed that there were multiple large tables and furniture where everyone could sit comfortably. We felt very safe and relaxed throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Relaxing Getaway

So the family and I stayed at this location in March but my daughter got sick and my wife really didn’t get a chance to enjoy herself because she spend most of the time in the hospital San Jose hospital with her. I took it upon myself to surprise her for her birthday and it was just me and her this time. She really enjoyed herself so much at the house, and was relaxed. We spent every day outside just enjoying the views and listening to the birds in the morning, while eating breakfast and drinking coffee/tea. I did a lot of laps in the pool. The security guards were friendly and the neighborhood peaceful. We did 2 miles walks within the neighborhood, also every morning. And as the last, Jeffrey the host was outstanding and amazing. Communication is the key to success and we did a lot of that. It just makes life easier. Thank you,Jeffrey for being a great host and providing paradise for me and my wife.

Family Retreat

Beautiful property amazing landscape, the pictures that you see online is just what you get when you stay here. The home has a resort appeal if you are just wanting to relax and enjoy the beautiful pool and the outdoor kitchen with a view of the hills and mountains around you. Nice to take morning walks in the neighborhood after a good yoga stretch and warm up.

Mistreatment of Landland (Jeff)

We booked for 4 nights but left after 1 and request a refund that we did not receive. When we arrived we called (Jeff) but he refused to allow us in the property because he was upset we were unable to keep constant communication. He spoke to us in such a demeaning way and scolded us for not having constant communication. He finally allows us to enter after I apologizing and explain our mobile issues when entering CR.

Amazing pool and outdoor space

We really enjoyed this home. Plenty of indoor space for a family of 7 with lots of bathrooms. The most outstanding part is an amazing backyard area with a gorgeous pool. Very safe and secure as well. 15-20 minutes from San Jose airport.

Stayed at Hidden Paradise 2 nights at the end of our trip. Home as described. Easy check in/responsive host. Even had sleeper sofa that was comfy. Beautiful backyard area with pool/fruit trees/numerous lounge areas/dining table/nice grill.

Great place to stay near San Jose

We needed a place to stay near the San Jose airport at the end of our trip and this property was excellent. It was easy to find, well maintained and has a beautiful back yard. We enjoyed the pool and also the quick walk to the bar at the corner, which was one of the less expensive dinners we had in Costa Rica, but was really good. Our family of 7 was accommodated well and we enjoyed our stay. Jefferey was great with communication and keeping us informed. This is a great option for a place near San Jose.
