  • The house we propose, located in a panoramic position, is divided into two apartments communicating with each other from the outside. Large, child friendly, comfortable country house "Vedi Torre", from the 18th century, renovated in 2004, surrounded by trees and fields. 14 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 35 km from the centre of Siena, 48 km from the centre of Firenze, in the district Casaglia, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private: property 1'200 m2, park 150 m2, garden 200 m2, swimming pool (12 x 6 m, depth 140 - 200 cm, seasonal availability: 27.Apr. - 26.Oct.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue, pool maintenance by the owner/gardener. In the house: central heating system, heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 15.Apr.. Motor access to the house (2 km via unmade road). Parking on the premises. We loved our stay at Vedi Torre. The pool was incredible and you can’t beat the view. Bedrooms were comfortable even in a heat wave and the kitchen met our standards. We loved our time!

Beautiful Tuscan Stay

We loved our time at Verdi Torre. We left wishing we had more time. It’s a very charming farmhouse with breathtaking views. Our evenings outside by the pool were highlights of our holiday. We were two families with teen children and the space fit us perfectly. It is also ideally located for day trips in the region.

Dejligt feriehus i Toscana.

Min familie og jeg (9 ialt) havde en dejlig ferie i det rummelige feriehus med megen charme. Huset ligger dejligt ugeneret. Huset var rent og har alt, hvad man skal bruge. Poolen er rigtig god og blev flittig brugt af alle. Jeg kan vart anbefale det til.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Verdi Torre. The local host was wonderful. She cooked a feat of local Tuscan food and was very helpful when the wifi wasn't working - she went into town and bought us a new modem! She really went above and beyond. Thanks to Interhome for adding a fifth guests at the last minute and for opening the pool ahead of schedule for us!

Unforgettable sunsets in Tuscany

We had the perfect two weeks holidays in Tuscany during August 2023. The house is perfect for a big family or a group of friends. It has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay, the swimming is perfect and has sun all day long. The house is easy to reach by car and it's on the top of a hill so you have a breathtaking sunset view everyday. The owner was very responsive and kept close contact with us. We also tried the wines produced by them which was great. Property exactly as described

Very beautiful location overlooking San Gimignano

This is a very nice home with a pool overlooking Tuscany. The sunsets are beautiful. The accommodations were comfortable. The check in process was very brief. Despite asking for help many times with the WiFi and stove issues, we did not get resolution. The host was very brief and seemed too busy to assist us. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. It was fantastic for our large group of 9.

Property was great!

The view from this home is stunning, overlooking San Gimignano. The pool was so nice as the weather was very warm. The house was in fair condition. There were many lights that did not work, the screen in a bedroom was gone so the windows could. It be opened at nights, the WiFi did not work unless you were sitting right next to the box, and the stove did not work in the main kitchen. We asked for help from the host with very little response. She never came back to help with any of these issues. .

Wonderful Villa

I went with a group of 5 friends and we had a lovely time. The owners, Interhome, were very helpful when I had to change the number of guests close to the arrival date and were amenable when we asked to have the pool opened ahead of schedule. The local manager of the property was excellent. She was very friendly and made us an lovely dinner of Tuscan specialties and we could not have asked for a better host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Herrlicher Blick auf San Gimignano

Die Unterkunft trägt ihren Namen "Vedi Torre" (di SanGimignano) zurecht: von den Liegen um den Pool, ist die Silouette des mittelaterlichen Kleinods im Blickfeld. Die Unterkunft, aufgeteilt in zwei Wohnungen mit separatem Eingang, ist rustikal aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Im Hochsommer empfiehlt es sich, die Läden tagsüber geschlossen zu halten, sonst ist es in der Nacht (zu) warm in der Wohnung. Die Unterkunft ist ideal für eine Grossfamilie oder zwei kleinere Familien.
