We enjoyed the clean and comfortable stay in the wonderful neighborhood of Potrero Hill. Coffee and small snacks were provided and we were fortunate to find a great place in San Francisco to be able to come back to after being out on the town.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay on our way to the Redwoods!

Would highly recommend this spot if you’re in San Fran for an overnight or two! The shared patio has an amazing sunset view and garden. Unit was clean and quiet. Beds, even the pullout couch, was comfortable. Host was a great communicator and very accommodating - allowing us to drop our bags off early at the unit before check in. Parking was easy and free on the street in front of the unit.

Beautiful spot in Potrero Hill!!

Nested in the heart of Potrero Hill, this place literally made us fall in love with San Francisco! The place itself is pretty roomy and quite charming, the Neighborhood is beautiful and very welcoming. There’s a bus stop on the corner which Will bring you Downtown in about 30mins for only 3/day! Again, we loved the place, the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it was missing basics that could easily be added:- A can-opener (when renting a VRBO, you want to avoid going to the restaurant ALL of the time)- Some dishcloths - we had to use bath towels...- Cushions on the outdoor furniture weren't ready for us - once there, we were told the cushions would only be cleaned and ready the next weekend...but we paid the same price/night as everybody else...oh well. The place is great, the area is wonderful, we had a great trip!

Perfect homebase!

My partner and I were in San Francisco for the 2025 Game Developers Conference (GDC). The hosts were very polite, friendly, and attentive! They provided some snacks and plenty of coffee (MUCH appreciated) and graciously allowed my partner into the residence when he forgot his passcode. I highly recommend this residence, and extend many thanks to the hosts for their flexibility and patience with two midwestern tourists!! :)

Perfect place for my work trip!

I needed a place in the area for a work trip, and this place was perfect. Within walking distance of the training location, nearby restaurants and markets. Views were great and loved having the backyard. Yes, it is a basement unit and you walk through the front door to access it, but it feels like your own private space. Have recommended it to others!

Potrero ADU

The accommodation was very clean and the check in and access was very easy. It is essentially a basement ADU and you walk right by the primary living quarters of the family. The bed was only a double and you could hear the residents every move.

Well kept. Responsive host. Good neighborhood.

The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The apartment was comfortable and clean and in a safe charming location. The streets around the property are hilly and very steep. The kitchen has a microwave and fridge, no cooktop or oven. All the windows are on one wall in the living room/kitchenette area and they face an outside wall, so there is no view. But they did a great job with the lighting, so it is not at all dark. The bedroom is a separate area, but not fully enclosed. The apartment has charm.

Lovely San Francisco Neighborhood!

The place was perfect! We ate breakfast in the top patio on an outdoor sofa every morning with the beauty of the sky, and lemon and lime trees. We loved the views in walking through the neighborhood. Public transportation is nearby and the place has everything we needed to feel comfortable!

Top of Potrero Hill

Fantastic booking. Great communicator. Enter front door w code. First time might be slightly shy-feeling since your door is within sight of the private quarters of their upstairs… Next entry (once you go out the back/side door will lead you back through the garage to the front door again… You can use that the rest of the time. But if you feel weird when you know they know you’ll be doing that first entry… then it’s just in your head. These hosts never made us feel unwelcome. In fact quite the opposite. Even with the first entry, you never feel like you’re intruding. The host is wonderfully responsive and even let us check in early so we didn’t need to leave our bags in the car. (Beware - in SF if you leave your bags in the car you’ll probably get them stolen.) The host was only able to allow us to do this because the room was vacant the night before and the host was gracious. Please do not expect this of them. But it just goes to show how helpful and communicative they were when we reached out w questions. Unit was a private studio (maybe able to call a 1br apartment I think), tasetefully decorated. Lots of amenities for almost every guest including dishes and even some books on local tourism for newbies. Simple rules to follow (and very reasonable) listed in a binder, which also provided local eateries. Close to Chase Center for concerts, close to mission and Castro, and short Uber ride to SOMA & downtown. Will be booking again. Great place to stay.

Comfortable neighborhood guest suite with nice amenities

Ideal suite in a safe and walkable neighborhood was comfortable and well furnished. It was a great base while attending a conference and going to dinner. Very comfortable and clean. Host left tasty snacks and beverages and was available fur any questions.parking is easy to find andthr neighborhood has stunning views of the city. Highly recommend & would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and safe.

First of all, our host was amazing. He was so quick to reply to any questions I had. Cleanliness is really important to me, and we were pleased overall. He had several things available for us, like fresh water, creamer, coffee, snacks, etc. we were told to notify him if we needed anything else. The beds were comfortable, and the place is very cozy. We were also allowed to use the garage to store our luggage, until after my daughter’s wedding. This unit is located in a quiet and safe area of San Francisco, and Uber drivers picked us up right in front of his home. Eateries are fairly close. There are hills, but they are manageable and make for great exercise after a meal! We loved taking in the views on our way to get lunch. Book here if you’re looking for a great spot to stay while exploring San Francisco! You won’t be disappointed!

A Room On A Hill

Nice room, located on a hill, with lots of stairs. Walking around the neighborhood was an up and down hill challenge, so bring your hiking shoes to get a good view. We left a note in the owners book, after we resolved the dingy-gray towels issue but we couldn't resolve the gnats within. Unit needs a convection cooktop (single unit) for renters use and a real lock on the door leading downstairs into the rental. Otherwise, our short stay was okay.
