"Wir hatten ein zweistöckiges Familienappartment mit drei Duschbädern, Küche, Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmern...sehr komfortabel. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber nicht störend. Tolle Poolanlage. Frühstück für deutsche Verhältnisse okay. Das Personal überaus freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kritikpunkt: auf der Terrasse gab es keine Sonnenschirme, was es uns leider unmöglich machte, dort auch mal etwas Zeit zu verbringen. "

"Nice hotel in a great location to everything in Siena. A bit dated. Parking in the back of the hotel for about $26.00 for approximately 24 hours. Decent buffet breakfast that was included. Great little Gelato place next to the hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful."

My four stars more towards the air-conditioning (we are at ground floor so having the window wide opened without any latch is not really an option, we tried variety settings but at the end decided to go with only fans mode), as well as the shower head for our room. "Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided...

"Great clean inviting hotel with amazing common spaces. Greatly appreciate it being just a smidge outside of the chaos that is the historic city center. You definitely have an extra 15-20 minute walk to get to the primary tourist destinations, but after a day of the Uffizi to Ponte Vecchio to Academia human conveyer belt, a little calming walk back to the Hoxton was a welcome and wonderful retreat. Great hotel!"

"Beautiful well maintained location! Amazing views! The breakfast buffet was great and so large! Particularly loved the orange juice and cappuccino machines. The restaurant on site has the same menu for lunch and dinner so pro tip eat lunch at the bar with a different menu if you aren’t going out. The shuttle only goes to San Gimignano and runs at 10, 11:15, 1:30 and 5:15. We wish there was a 3PM option but taking public transport is cheap and easy. This is an amazing place to stay to visit...

"Our experience was consistent with previous reviews. Location is ideal. Easy entrance into main attraction area and with rooms off an interior courtyard property is super quiet at night. Rooftop terrace is ideal. Relaxing, great cocktails and a perfect way to end a day sightseeing in the crowds of Florence. We didn't realize the restaurant is not open for dinner. Breakfast was crowded, food ok. Overall a nice property."
