    Open the front door and listen to the waves crash. Watch the moon rise over the dunes and track your footprints over a private trail to the beach. Just your footprints and the deer. Enjoy oceanfront life on the most beautiful beach in the world!
    Trace your trail back to a newly renovated boho style beach cottage. Find surfboard racks, outdoor deck, park grill, outdoor shower, fish cutting station, screened porch and roof top deck. Blue Dune is a newly renovated two bedroom cottage with open floor plan and fully equipped kitchen. Wireless internet, DirectTv and and sound system on property. This is the perfect cozy cottage for small families, fisherman and nature lovers.

The cutest beach bungalow! Perfect for our trip, two adults and two teens who go to the beach to fish and swim. Perfect fishing spot and beach wasn’t crowded. Located in proximity to anything you might need. Would stay here again.

Blue Dune

Wonderful location! Only a short walk to the beach through the dunes. Perfect location to travel to Nags Head or Avon/Buxon. We caught several sharks and a few puppy drum. Great stay with great hosts!

Close to nature and the beach!

Perfect location, great views, lovely and private natural setting. A highlight was watching the aurora borealis from the roof deck!

Honeymoon Getaway

Our stay here was very nice. We messaged a question about the AC the night we arrived and they had someone come over that night to address it, and we had no other problems throughout the week. The place was the perfect size for my wife and I, and would be good for a small family. The location is very nice because you are just a short walk over a dune from the beach, and the area is not very crowded or touristy. We enjoyed time on the beach, checking out local shops and restaurants, and looking for crabs at night (there were tons!). We definitely recommend this spot for a quiet getaway!

Great cozy cottage! Perfect for small families. Short walk to the beach over the dunes. Very peaceful and quiet area, not at all touristy or commercial. The only thing that should change about the listing is that it says there is a washer but there is none. I came prepared with detergent but there was no washer. Overall amazing stay and way more affordable than the surrounding homes.

A great time on the beach

What a great property. Very nice location with a private beach access. After seeing how crowded the public areas are, this is worth the rental in and of itself. Clean and easy to get to, this is a place we would recommend and return to.

Cozy and tucked away

We absolutely loved this cozy little cottage if you will. Very quiet area right on the water! The owners were very responsive and offered so many ideas! The kids adored it as wel! We hope to rent here again!

Great Time at the Beach

This is the quintessential beach house. Right on the beach (behind the dunes) very laid back place with all you need to relax, which is what we were going for after a hectic season of work and life. Decor is great, all appliances and AC worked well. Location on beach and in a small, quiet town is just great.

Great relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our short stay of three nights. Perfect for the two of us. Great beach and great fishing. Enjoyed listening to the birds tweet back and forth from the dunes. Hope to come back again.

Lovely Beachfront Cottage

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wonderful location with a short walk across the dunes to one of the most pristine beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage has everything one would need for a perfect getaway - although we did bring our own linens and towels per other reviews. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful time away

House was clean and had everything available in the listing. Beach access was just as the pictures showed. Only thing I would do for improvements would be repair and update rooftop deck and add some seating to the porch but overall a great place to stay for one family.
