Sans Souci is a comfortable vacation home situated on a private lake in the beautiful St. Waves subdivision! Within easy walking distance to the community tennis courts, community pool, shops, and restaurants, San Souci is the ideal location for an Outer Banks vacation. On the first level, you will find a living area, with built-in seating and a perfect gathering spot for the kids! Also on this level, you'll find four nicely sized bedrooms, two with queens, one with a double, and the third with two twin bunks, plus a shared hall bath.

The second living level boasts a spacious great room with a log fireplace and deck access to the hot tub. The nicely equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating while the dining area nearby has access to the screened porch and makes mealtimes indoors or out a breeze. The primary bedroom on this level has a private bath, deck access, and incredible views perched over the lake.

The elevated sitting area is the ideal place to curl up with a good book and hide from the rest of your party. Just gaze out the windows at the lake and daydream about the vacation adventures that will follow in the coming days. Quietly reminisce over the fun family memories created earlier in the day, or hook up your laptop and do some web-surfing. We loved this house and this neighborhood. The little lake behind the house was great for watching birds and even deer. It’s not far from a boardwalk to the beach. The house was set up well. We plan to stay there again.

Nice peaceful area. Nice home with good amenities. Easy to get to the beach but a short distance away. Most everything you need is already there if you plan to cook. Easily accommodated my family.

We had a great stay in this home- booked last min and the price was right! Clean and well maintained home- could use updated furniture in living room (so uncomfortable) and updated mattresses (perhaps all to queens or kings!). Close to dining options and drive on beach. Beautiful views day or night!

All Roads Lead to Sans Souci

Oh, Neptune! Sans Souci was a delightful home. Loved the views sitting on the deck, hot tub was lovely, and only a short walk to the beach. House was very clean. Missing coffee pot and had some issues getting the washing machine to work. Great house.

Location was great. Quiet, plenty of space, hot tub, clean, and great rates. Only knocking off 1 star for some random things. Troublesome range top and dishwasher, uncomfortable older furniture (not too bad), to name a couple. But overall it’s worth more like a 4.1 star rating.

Nice overall

Nice place overall. We enjoyed our stay. Extended family-7 total. Pool was not big, but not many people used it which was nice. Location is nice. Quiet community. Appliances outdated, had a DW leak, but Vacasa responded quickly. Beds and furniture uncomfortable. No major problems however. If we come back to OBX, we would probably look for a different place.

Nice house

I’ve traveled to the Outer Banks 6 or 7 times over the last 15 years. Always with my large extended family in a big house, but not this time. This trip was just for my immediate family and it did the trick! We were happy with how clean the home was and it had everything we needed…almost, it did lack a coffee pot. However, there are enough coffee shops nearby to get your caffeine kick. All in all, we were quite happy and would be happy to return.

The home was just as it is pictured and the view of the pond was nice! We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and walking to the beach. The furniture (especially living room area) was not very comfortable. There was a standard coffee pot (but not one that would brew K-cups). We enjoyed some trips to Nags Head and Avon as there were more things to do there - however we enjoyed some of the local businesses close by as well. The area was quiet and relaxing which is just what we were looking for!

Perfect Place for A Summer Family Vacation

This property had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation with children and grand children. Easy walk to the beach and even closer community pool for water fun! Great deck to sit on any time of day and look at sun rise, the lake, birds and hearing the ocean! The adults loved the hot tub on the deck as well. If you enjoy being away from the summer crowds, this is the place to be. Rodanthe, Waves and Avon still have the amenities needed for groceries, restaurants and more importantly, after dinner ice cream! The interior of the home is cozy and has everything needed for cooking, relaxing and sleeping soundly at night! We were very satisfied with Sans Souci!

Even though the weather wasn`t perfect, the house was wonderful. I appreciate the gas grill and that the propane was full. Believe it or not the grill was a major perk in choosing this house. We love catching and grilling OBX seafood. The top deck is amazing and we spent every morning with coffee up there. We have already booked 2 different weeks for next year and cannot wait. The house was honestly great. I did not have a single issue where I needed to contact the realty. Location was terrific in-between Hatteras and Kitty Hawk. Avon was only 12 minutes away from the property. Loved waking up in the morning having the sun shine through the windows looking out onto the small pond. You can hear the waves so clear and actually see the beach. The hot tub was a nice plus! They had everything you would need, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and outdoor shower. Wish I stayed even longer.
