Don't rent this house
First off did not get lock code until multiple text messages to manager she was new to this role obviously. House was absolutely the filthiest place we have ever stayed.After two trips to the store we had enough cleaning supplies to be able to stay in the house ( four of us cleaned for 3 hours) we bagged up dusty, dirty, smelly, dog hair laden throw pillows, comforterds, etc. in order to be able to breathe. When the owner became aware of this she filed a claim to replace these things which she said were ruined when we put them in trash bags and put them in a bedroom we did not use because the smell penitrated everything. Interesting way to replace worn out dirty items The local health department is aware of a complaint of the vent in the ceiling of the kitchen that had never ever been cleaned and I am almost certain so much filth, dog hair whatever had clogged to the point that air had not moved through in a long time. In my opinion This house is a health risk.
Too bad I can't uload pictures of all the dirt and dog hair but the manager has the pictures and refuses to take any responsibility. We were unable to rent another house at such late notice so only option was to stay. We have used VRBO up and down the East Coast and have never encountered a house this dirty.
