We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. "Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO."

"The house is beautiful, and the view of the lake from the back deck is breathtaking. The kitchen is beyond well equipped. When prepping meals for our crew - everything we hoped to find we found! The bedrooms are pretty, and super comfortable. Kristin is really responsive but also has that lovely Kootenay vibe. Welcoming and relaxed. Best rental experience ever! Thanks Kristine."

"We had a great time staying in Genelle with our group of friends! Easy 25/30 minute drive to Red each morning. The house has plenty of beds and floor space so we were able to spread out easily. Large kitchen and living areas were perfect for our group. Overall very clean and well kept home that we would love to visit again."

"This was a large property able to sleep many guest, but yet you still had your own privacy. It was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking materials (pots, pans, bowls etc) that would accomodate a large group. It was 5 mins to the ski hill (as we were there for a ski race). The host was fantastic, easy to reach and answered all of our questions. The house was beautiful! We would stay here again "

"I loved my stay at this property, it is exactly as shown and has a lovely calm energy that is so welcoming. I was greeted with a delicious loaf of sourdough (still warm!) along with coffee staples which made feel at home right off the bat, such an appreciated welcome! Chara is a lovely host, attentive and responsive. The suite is walking distance to everything downtown and is super quiet and is very well equipped. I highly recommend this property and very much look forward to my next stay here....

"Beautiful place .. well stocked with everything in the kitchen .. appreciated the many coffee makers .. the lockers at entry .. plenty of room .. beds upstairs very comfy .. . not a real ski in ski out that we have experienced at other properties .. perhaps better with more snow .. did not appreciate the 14 hours it took for the hottub to get at least to 100 from ice cold when we arrived .. and over chlorinated.. very tiny garage door so our vehicles didn’t fit.. had a fun time."
