"The property is very old so things in the rooms dont work, like the lights, the water of the toilet never stops running, same with the showers, the rooms are not very clean specially the first one, that was the worse, unfortunately we had to sleep on that one cause there was no house keeping after 1pm, they moved us to 3 diff rooms, the first one was terrible, and dirty, the second one the bathroom light didnt work, and the shower didnt stop dripping, the Internet didn't work on neither one of...

"De vloer was verschrikkelijk vies. Toen we aan de eigenaar vroegen of er wat aan gedaan kon worden sprong hij zowat uit zijn vel.Dat had hij in 25 jaar nog niet meegemaakt. Zijn vrouw bleef kalm en zou er voor zorgen. Toen we s'avonds terug kwamen was er grondig schoon gemaakt zelfs de trap naar boven. Toen we bedankte zij hij dat er niets anders was gedaan dan anders."

"Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. "

"Superb location over the River Nadder with a short walk through the water meadows to Salisbury proper. It is an old hotel so don't expect all modern conviemences although everything was clean and confortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. There is a bit of noise on a summers day from the pub and beer garden. The restaurant was good , fantastic lamb steak and breakfast very nice. Good value, great location"
