"Pretty victorian house in a beautiful area. The basement unit is reached by a gravel path, through a gate and down some stairs. It is large and and uniquely cute. We enjoyed the refrigerator, hot plate, ice maker and made pour over coffee with a Chemex. There is also a 1 cup Keurig. There are a few kitchen items, a skillet and dishes. We love West Salem and will no doubt come again."

"Like a little slice of heaven! Pictures do not do it justice. You’ll feel like a VIP in a resort but also like it’s home away from home. The king bed was a highlight of my trip (very cozy snd comfortable!) I Could not get over the view of the grounds and wish we had more time to explore but we were visiting for just 1 night from out of state. The local members we met were extremely friendly in the most genuine way. If we’re ever lucky enough to be in this area again, we’d love to stay longer"

"Rarely can someone say their stay was flawless, but that's exactly what we experienced during our four-night stay at the Lake House. The home and furnishings are literally brand new and absolutely beautiful. To say the place is well-appointed would be an understatement. The hosts have truly thought of everything—we lacked for nothing during our stay.Communication with the hosts was excellent, and check-in and check-out were both effortless. "This is a great little house! Everything was squeaky clean from top to bottom. The home has been nicely updated throughout, and the kitchen is excellent — well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in. We especially loved the DeLonghi coffee maker; it made fantastic brews every morning. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept great. The master bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower, which is perfect for older travelers or anyone with mobility issues. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo....

"Beautifully laid out and had all amenities. I especially appreciated the natural fabric sheets. (vs the cheap ones made of polyester or microfiber) Comfortable bed, got a good nights sleep each night. Kitchen is very user friendly and had everything one would need. The location was good, we felt very comfortable and safe, including after dark. We will definitely stay there again."
