"We checked in for a short getaway and were pleasantly surprised. We normally stay in hotels but we wanted to be able to stay in a make our own meals and this was perfect. It was quiet and secluded and the room was clean and comfortable. It had every amenity we needed. We will definitely be back the next time we need an escape. We didn't have a car but they provided us a list with cab drivers that were familiar with the property so we didn't have any issue getting to or from whenever we needed...

"The owners of this property have done a wonderful job on the grounds and the apartment was just perfect for two. Everything we needed for a relaxing few days on this beautiful island. "Amazing view, loved the style with dark wood trim/doors, arches and turret windows. Comfy bed, soft sheets, loved the stone patio and nooks. Had a grwat breeze and no need for a/c. Slept with windows open and could here the wind, waves, birds and frogs. Great time, so relaxing."

"I was on island for business. So I kept odd hours. Place was perfect for my needs. You do need a vehicle, but stunning views from top of the island mean a longer walk. Host was wonderful. Checked in to make sure all was well, but otherwise left me to myself. Would stay here again."

"The place is actually better in person than in photos. Very clean and nice, the owner is also very nice and responsive. I would rent this place again. AC was great, rooms, towels and blankets clean and kitchen is convenient. It has plenty of room and a good parking space for a small Jeep. If you are renting a large SUV you probably need additional space to park your car. The only thing is to consider that when walking to this place from Cruz Bay it has very step hill (good exercise), but still...

"Happy Place was wonderful. The home is newer, nicely landscaped, and well appointed with Kitchen-Aid appliances and quality dish-ware. With the pull-out sofa, it worked well for our family of four. It’s a short drive to a nearby grocery, the ferry landing, and Cruz Bay shops and restaurants. Parking is ample for both units, which is a huge plus on the Island. The owner provided a small ice-chest, beach towels, and a few chairs to take to the beach - which we used daily. We hope to return next...

"The family had a great time staying at this comfortable and clean, hillside condo overlooking greater Cruz Bay! For our first trip to St. John we wanted to stay someplace quiet, yet convenient to the restaurants and shopping in Cruz Bay, and the northside beaches. This place fit the bill perfectly. "We really enjoyed the Seahorse & Turtle cottage.The interior is adorable and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There were generously many condiments, coffee, etc provided upon arrival which was unexpected but great to get started! The outdoor spaces are also lovely with of the mountains on one side and Coral Bay from the other. We loved not having any stairs to navigate with luggage or groceries so that was a plus. "Overall - great location. The actual condo/apartment? Was much more ‘lived in’ than the pictures showed. This is not a beachfront property. This is not really somewhere I’d want to ‘hang’ with friends or family to watch the sunset. It did have a comfortable bed and nice towels…..BUT the rooster who lived next door made sure you were up early. Wi-Fi was spotty and host was unreachable by phone and email."

"On getting to property I had a little trouble finding it but once there it was great. Very close to the grocery store and a short walk into town. It is an uphill walk to the property, past the market, on a road with little sidewalk however, the view from the deck more than made up for it. The deck is large enough for morning yoga and reading as you watch the sun go down. The property was clean, and had everything I needed for a quick getaway. I would stay there again."
