"The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet felt like it belonged in an elementary school. It’s a cool old house! Staff was nice but there seems to be a disconnect with communication between the owner and them. We got several automated messages but staff was unaware of what they said. "Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again"

"Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. "We typically stay in name brand hotels when visiting family in the Gettysburg area, but we decided to give downtown a try this trip. We did not regret it. The hotel is lovely and so, so convenient. "The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."
