"What an incredible hidden gem. It was exactly what my wife and I needed—a peaceful relaxing get away! Exceptional hosts who have created such a warm, welcoming and cozy space, this just isn’t a rental. The kitchen is amazing loaddd with everything you need to perp and cook meals. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home.We were able to dock our boat for the week at there dock, that was just a quick walk from the door and short boat ride out to the lake. "The house was just perfect with fresh eggs from their chickens waiting for us! This place is immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. We walked dogs and jumped in the lake at Round Lake State Park just around the corner from this property Great stay!"

"If you don't need direct lake access Murphy's Retreat is a perfect place to stay. We stayed for two nights over 4th of July and it was amazing. We had wonderful lake views, and were able to watch all the neighbors shoot off their fireworks so we did not even need to drive into town. The back decks and patio are super comfortable, and we had a great...

"We had an awesome time at Adam's place! It is really special with beautiful sunset views through the trees, all the adorable animals and a very spacious house. We used the outdoor grill and seating area every day. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Although our time indoors was limited, it was really great to have the big...

"Such a beautiful, clean, home. Great location and privacy. We will be back!"

"This is a beautiful spacious home with room for everyone. The home was very clean and well stocked. The game room is amazing, but several of the board games were missing multiple pieces, and should be updated. There were quite a few bikes available for riding, but several of them need to be replaced as they do not shift. The fenced yard was great for the small children and dog who accompanied us."
