"Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. Anyway, it was an expensive lesson for my further travels using VRBO as I would only consider a place...

"I knew Hamptons housing would be pricey, and the location, about 20 minutes from the venue I was visiting for a music show, was the main draw. I requested an early check in due to a meeting and was told the host would follow up. They never did, even after I sent a follow-up message. "The property was in a great location. Walk to the beach. The unit we stayed in was also very well organized, and mostly clean aside from the floors needing a good mopping, they were at least debris free which at least kept the ants at bay. The huge shower was a plus! A couple of suggestions, blackout curtains or blinds would be helpful for people who are hoping to get a restful sleep during their vacation.
