"There was a glitch with our room but Samantha at the front desk was super helpful. She took care of the issue and gave superb customer service. The property is very nice and it has a nostalgic feel of an earlier time in California. We will definitely come back."

"Went down for a 1 night getaway on a Friday, and it was wonderful. This is now our getaway place from now on. 35 minutes from our house, but a different world all together. The architectural design and landscaping are a highlight, it's feels "old school" and the staff is great. Very casual, helpful, kind of felt like staying at a friend's house. For some reason, it felt like we spent an entire weekend there and it was barely 24 hours. Love it. Can't recommend any higher."

"Very nice heated pool area . Nicely shaded grounds with canyon setting . Easy walk on the path way down to alesio beach where you can get chairs and umbrellas at lost pier cafe showing your room key . Pricey restaurants on hotel site but the food was very good . "

"The the entire staff was welcoming and helpful, especially Katie at the front desk and micheal at the bar. We loved the retro look of the room and how well designed it was. The breakfast was amazing eggs and croissants and coffee were delicious. Fantastic location we walked to the beach and had easy access Cannot wait to stay at another pali house hotel, as I have heard they have many locations. "

"I had a wonderful stay. A lot of space and my room had an awesome view of the beach and the pier. Was a quick walk to the beach and they offer beach towels and chairs for you to use. Also close to a small store and a couple of places to grab a quick bite to eat. It is a bit of an older property but it is well maintained. The staff is very friendly. I hesitate to review this too well because it’s a relatively small property and I don’t want it to sell out the next time I want to visit. "
