Summary:
Enjoy a memorable getaway with this 4-bedroom home+studio nestled in the heart of Sacramento! Just minutes away from local shops, breweries, parks, the Golden 1 Center, Sacramento State University, major highways, and the bustling midtown. We are also conveniently located nearby UC Davis Medical Center, which is less than a mile away! Your family will also love Fairytale park & Sacramento Zoo, just about a 4-min drive away from the home.

The Space:
The entire 3 bedroom unit+ studio unit is available for access. There’s a small front and rear porch area that guests are welcomed to use. The garage is a closed space and is kept locked. It is not available for access.

Guest Access:
Guest will have full access to the home and studio. There are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms in the main home. 2 bedrooms has a king bed each, and the last room has 2 double beds in the same room. The studio has a day bed that can comfortably sleep one, and a bathroom of its own. Feel free to park in the gated driveway or enjoy free parking on the street in front of the house!

The Neighborhood:
Hollywood Park is an established, safe and quiet neighborhood. The residents are easy going. The house itself is about a 5 minute drive from the always fun broadway triangle (in Oak Park); an area with great shops, breweries, and an awesome bookstore. We love the Plant Foundry (nursery and garden) and think you might, too. Also close by are two great breweries. Track 7 is a local favorite for craft beer. Two rivers is another local favorite literally a 2 minute walk from the house. They’ve got delicious options for beer and ale. Just down the street is Curtis park. It’s full of gorgeous trees, green grass and the perfect walking path. William land park is also 2 minutes away, full of trees, a running trail and the Sacramento Zoo!

Getting Around:
If you get the chance, try the city's newest form of transit - electric scooter sharing! Electric scooters are becoming more and more popular in the area and are a really fun way to get around. Of course Uber and Lyft are readily available, too. Public transportation runs up and down the main cross street

Other Things to Note:
The garage is locked and not available for access.
We do NOT HAVE cable services. We offer streaming services such as Netflix, Roku, Prime, & Hulu. (Guest has to use their own Netflix account)
The main home runs with central heating, while the studio has a portable heater.

Interaction with Guests:
At the front door, you can say "Hi" with the Video Doorbell - just push the button (if you want to). We have lived in Sacramento for over 30 years and can provide great recommendations for some great local food - just ask . If you need anything else, you can call or message.

Family Vacation

My family and I (age ranges from 4 - 52 yrs. total of 7 members) went to Sacramento for my husband and I 1yr. wedding anniversary as well as to visit our aunt. When searching we came across Mr. Crocketts property and it was very nice from the photos and seemed spacious for our family. Once we booked it, Mr. Crockett introduced himself and seemed very welcoming which made our then upcoming trip even more exciting. The days before arriving, Mr. Crockett was very communicative about the rules, wifi, and any other information needed for when we arrived. Once we arrived, the area was close to where our aunt lived which was great!The landscaping needed handling in terms of the grass being cut but other than that, the property was AMAZING!The pictures did not disappoint with how spacious it was for me and my family! Beds were very comfy, kitchen was spacious and beautiful and the back house was even great as well. We did have issues connecting the tv in the double bed and Mr. Crockett was very efficient in trying to assist us with ordering a new adaptor (which arrived super fast) but unfortunately it still didn’t work during our stay. But it didn’t even matter because the kids entertained themselves and majority of time we went to our aunts. Mr. Crockett was VERY COMMUNICATIVE! He responded very quickly and professionally. We truly appreciate him for opening his home to us and our family! Until next time!
