"My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. "The hotel is about 10' walk from the train station. The hotel picked us up at the front of the train station. Our room is big and faces the Matterhorn, allowing us to view the Red Mountain in the early morning from our deck and window. One thing you should know is that the "first floor" is about 30 stairs above the ground level and you have to walk up and down. But the hotel staff will help to carry your luggage up to your room and take it down when you leave. We enjoy our time in this hotel. "

"This hotel went beyond my expectations!! The "sky room" had the best view of the matterhorn with a balcony to enjoy it. The breakfast was wonderful with buffet And made to order options. "We stated at Hotel Julen for 2 days May 7 & 8th to go up the Matterhorn. Our room was very nice and very clean, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast had everything anyone could desire. We had supper at one of the restaurants ( Schaferstube) in the hotel on our 2nd night. For those looking for a traditional Swiss atmosphere and food we would highly recommend it. We had the beef fondue which was excellent. Location is excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel."
