"We loved our stay. The location is fantastic and for us with children being opposite the playground as well as such a short walk into town was great. Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. "The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. However, it was dirty in areas, like the crockery all had to be washed before use, blinds were dirty and dusty, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and dog hair around. Not...
