"We went for the comfort room. It was tiny. Nowhere to hang or layout clothes, not even a chair to put things on. Superficially clean but needed a proper deep clean. Breakfast was fine (good range of cooked options) and location excellent. Certainly not worth the amount we paid for it (over £160). We plan to return to Rye as it is such a beautiful town but we will find somewhere else to stay next time."

"It very nicely located in the old part of town,"

"Hotel was nice and comfortable overall. Breakfast was great! Only hiccup was that hotel rebooked us in a different room than I had booked without telling us, new room didn't have bed set up that we wanted."

"Dette svarer ikke til annoncering. Hyggeligt gammelt hus midt i Rye. Bar og reception er lukket bortset fra søndag formiddag, man må ikke anvende den terrasse de annoncerer, morgen mad indtages i en lille isbar, og ikke på terrassen (bortset fra søndag). Dette er blot et værelse man lejer, det er ikke et reelt hotel. Man kan ringe til et nummer hvis der mangler noget. Vi kom ikke igennem og måtte selv skaffe toiletpapir. De få gange vi mødte personale var de venlige. Hvis du blot skal leje et...

"A fantastic place to stay. The location is quiet and it’s less than a mile from the centre of Rye and an easy walk into town. The standard of finish in the property is excellent and had everything we needed for a short stay. I highly recommend this property. It is possible to rent Buttercup to double up the accommodation and they share an entrance lobby."

"We had a wonderful time in Rye with this ideally located studio apartment. Superbly equipped with everything we needed to ensure a very pleasant stay. The steps to the apartment ( 2 staircases to negotiate plus the amazing staircase to the bedroom would challenge any one who struggles with stability). A quiet location disturbed only by birdsong. No complaints whatsoever about our stay."
