"What really stood out was how incredibly fast the team reacted when we realised the bedding contained feathers – entirely our oversight for not requesting a change before arrival. The staff were unfailingly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel, and our suite was absolutely gigantic. We loved it! "

"We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and the decor was up to date. Only slight quibble was the shower over the bath which was dated but produced hot water. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was good with English breakfast cooked well. The lounge was a lovely room to have a drin as it overlooked the river. I would definitely recommend this independently run hotel "
