"For a budget hotel, the Ibis is a cut above. The rooms are not large but the beds are extremely comfy. The shower cubicle is large with plenty hot water. The room is spotless and as a sufferer of an allergy to dust mites, I can state that I did not encounter any problems. The TV worked well with a wide range of Freeview channels. This has improved from before."

"The property is very clean, and I like the style and design. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The water filling stations on every floor were very convenient. My only complaint is that the food at the diner is quite expensive."

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."
