"We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this charming lakeside cottage. The place was sparklingly clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need for a comfortable stay. "This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a great time staying here for my wife’s birthday. Tons of space: huge main room with 3 fold down futons, one bedroom with a bed and a second bedroom with an additional 2 beds. "What a wonderful unique property! We were impressed from the minute we walked in. From the decor to the welcoming home away from home atmosphere it was perfect for our stay. The hot tub was warm and ready upon arrival the kitchen worked perfect for our meals we whipped up. I loved the set up and have already been telling friends and family about it! "This was the most elegant, beautiful cabin I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting. The cabin and its surroundings are pristine, and beautifully and delicately decorated. Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer....

"A problem with the hot water heater was discovered upon our arrival Friday afternoon and reported to the property manager. He immediately addressed the issue and had a crew repair the hot water tank within several hours on Friday evening. Great timely response - having no hot water would have ruined our weekend trip! Online listing says no bed linens/ towels or Wifi provided - we were pleasantly surprised to find all of these were provided!Our family had a great time staying at this cabin....
