"Good hotel, not exceptional. TV in the room worked, but kept pixelating and couldn’t watch. Rang for room service , no one answered, kept ringing off."

"The staff were helpful and the room was great. Just very warm and no air con. Also no mini bar/ fridge in room made it difficult to stay cool on the hottest day of the year. But the pool came on handy for that."

Hilton Birmingham Metropole
"The room I was given (single occupancy to be fair) was similar to student accommodation. The small bed was pushed up against the wall. The shower was cramped, the shower gel was empty.
