"Fantastic little BnB. A friend an I were visiting Paul Nicholls' racing stable in Ditcheat, and we didn't know how difficult the walk was along the A-road.
Upon hearing we were going, the owner offered to give us a lift in the morning after breakfast (which was also brilliant). Made us feel welcome from the get-go. Thank you for the stay!"

"We booked a small double for the week end which was perfect for us. It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. The Staff were brilliant, we received a warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We had the a la carte menu on the first night which was delicious and pizzas from the pizza kitchen on the second - also delicious. "We had hiked 15 miles so we were just so pleased to get in and have a good shower and a comfy bed.
Just as well we were already awake though as they were sawing up wood to make decking below our room window at 7.15 am…"

"The staff were very welcoming and made a fuss of our little dog. The food was excellent and the wine was a treat. They were very helpful and friendly. The inn was very characterful and felt very homely. I highly recommend a stay at The Oakhill Inn. It was also very popular with the locals which speaks volumes. Bridget"

"What I think is some sort of old coaching inn with a great car park a nice garden, a pizza oven in the garden and a outstanding selection of beers and ciders. A great base for exploring inland Somerset. "

We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me).
The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients.
All in all it was a great stay and good value for money.

"The hotel was booked for a couple of nights stay, it was a lovely quiet location with the garden beside a brook running through the village.
The room was at the back of the hotel was very quiet aswell, the only concern was the shower cubicle was a bit small, but to be fair couldn't be any larger in the room.
The food was very good and reasonably priced, the breakfast was also very good-quite large.
On our experience we would definitely recommend, the superb weather helped considerably, ample...
