The Space:
Highfield Ride offers spacious, comfortable living across a thoughtfully designed layout. Inside the main house, you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms—two with super king beds and a third with a queen bed—ideal for couples or families seeking a restful stay. The living area is open plan with a sunken lounge stepping out onto the deck.

The fully detached sleep out adds flexibility and privacy, featuring its own shower and toilet, plus a set of bunks, a king single bed, and a pull-out single. It’s a great option for kids or extra guests. Whether you're relaxing indoors or enjoying the peaceful outdoor setting, Highfield Ride is the perfect base for your Rotorua getaway.

Guest Access:
You'll have access to the entire house, including the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Relax in the living areas with a TV and wireless internet. You'll also have access to the private bedrooms and bathrooms. Outside, you can enjoy the BBQ grill. Parking is available with free parking on the premises and on the street.

The Neighborhood:
Lynmore is the gateway to The famous Redwoods (Whakarewarewa) Forest. The forest provides some of New Zealand's best mountainbiking trails and a number of walking and running tracks. You'll also find the Redwoods Tree Walk just down the road. Lynmore has a number of cafe's, a bistro and shops, all within close proximity of the house.

Getting Around:
Located in Lynmore, this home provides convenient access to the city center, reachable within a 7-minute drive. Public transport options from the house are readily available for exploring the city. There is plenty of parking on the property and on the street.

The house was lovely and tidy - it was clean, warm and smelt ok. Location was central to where we needed to travel each day. It had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the property manager was timely and clear. Overall, we had a great stay - thank you!

Loved the location, house was clean and beds comfortable. Kitchen was well set up,apart from we couldnt find a plug for the sink.Also the front door was sometimes hard to unlock.

Great House with awesome hot tub

We had a great time in Rotorua, rode the redwoods every day and loved coming back home to a hot spa. Garage was great for bikes too.

3 night stay

Great place to stay, really enjoyed our visit. The hottub was a highlight! We just booked the main house for 4 adults and it was quite spacious. They had all the cooking gear that you need and very basic supplies like oil, salt and pepper as described. The place seemed clean and all dishes were clean. The only negative is the sound proofing around the bathroom. Essentially there is none so it makes it a bit awkward to use the toilet at times. Especially for people sleeping in the room that backs up to the toilet. Going bathroom in the middle of the night would be quite loud and easily heard from that room. Would definitely book this place again!

School Holiday fun

We had a fantastic five days staying at Highfield. The layout and space worked really well for our families and I loved the proximity to the Redwoods forest and other activities. Having a spa was an added bonus which the kids loved and helped when the weather was less than ideal. The service and communication was wonderful and I really appreciated the help when we left a couple of items behind! Great internet and well appointed kitchen. Would stay here again

On the positive, great communication and loved the spa. Unfortunately the place was thick with dust and cobwebs and so much hair all over the bathroom floor and hair clogged shower ruined our experience. The sleepout was terrible! We tried everything so get rid of the old musty damp smell but could not shake it. It was strong and vile. With a bit of TLC this could be amazing but it certainly isn't at the moment.

Perfect for us, very comfortable, very clean. On the road to the lakes, short drive to town, across the road from the forest. Kids liked to watch the big tv in the outhouse. Thank you for having us.

Great space, works really well. May not hace read the property details correctly, didn't realize 4th room was a sleepout but was also a great space. Would be good if locks were keyed alike and supplied 2 keys for easier security when locking up at night.

Relaxed spacious home

Great space for myself and teens to get away. Loved the indoor outdoor flow. Lovely surprise to have the heater on the patio in this evening. Spa was gorgeous to enjoy at this time also. Appreciated having access to the second/sleepout space as we found the shower loads more enjoyable to use. Also loved having access to the dryer as one of the days were raining on and off. Overall great space, lovely bedrooms and comfy living with all kitchen appliances available for use.
