Comfortable character home near Rotorua lakefront, fast Wifi.

Our home is located close to the Waiteti Stream and the Ngongotaha lakefront park. Access to Lake Rotorua is an easy 2 minute stroll around the corner. Our home was originally built in the 1930's and we have enjoyed refurbishing it during the time that we have been the owners, all the while being careful to maintain its charm. It features 3 bedrooms, 1 large modern bathroom as well as 2 lounge areas and a modern kitchen. Each lounge areas has separate heating with one of these being a log fireplace. The property is completely fenced with lawn at the front and rear of the house for kids to enjoy. The house also has a lock-up garage.

We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, clean and very cute. The layout is a little unconventional but that is part of its charm. Gert (the host) was very responsive, helpful, and generous. My son had an important Skype meeting on the day of our departure that ran till 1pm and Gert was very generous to let us stay till the end of the meeting (checkout time is 10am) without charging us extra!

The house had a charm about it. It was one street back from the lake with easy access to lake and many tourist activities. Kitchen was very well equiped, off street parking and plenty of space. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay

My family and I stayed here just after the easter weekend. Its a comfy house that catered to all our needs and a lovely stroll to the lake. Would definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Amazing Location

A lovely house that's close to everything in Rotorua and the Bay of Plenty area in general. Very close to the lake which is great to walk around and explore. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed, easy to check in and checkout.

A perfect getaway

The property was exactly what we wanted—a bit outside Rotorua but still close to all the attractions and the lake. We traveled as a family of four with my mother in law and the house was perfect—we could all have our our space when we needed and also could all hang out together. Highly recommended.

Neglected rental in a good location

The rental unit has great potential; it is in a good location, has outdoor space, and sufficient indoor space. Unfortunately, it is very dirty, and routine maintenance has been significantly neglected. Floors were littered with food crumbs and dust. Food residue was in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. Window latches were broken off their frames or non- existent. The outdoor couch and cushions were mouldy. And this is not an exhaustive list. Overall, we would not recommend staying at this rental unless the owner spends the time and money to bring it to a level of cleanliness and maintenance expected by renters.

Excellent home and stay

Amazing home that had everything we needed and a little bit more. Spacious rooms and we loved the wood burner on a particularly cold night there. Home was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. Excellent area and one minute little stroll to the lakefront. Loved our stay here and would absolutely book again. Perfect Little Getaway

Everything pictured as advertised. Beautiful well kept home that offers every amenity, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Private backyard offers an area to dine outside or have a glass of wine at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay.
