We stayed in the basic room. It was very small but adequate. The room was clean, the bed was firm and the walls are nit sound proofed in any way. Having stayed in many similar hotels in Taupo, the standard of the Lakefront is comparable with them. It was great to be relatively close to town.

Room was nice, 204. First curtain hook/slider was broken RHS. Hot water was dangerously hot. Vanity waste leaked inside cabinet.
