"A perfect location for enjoying Times Square and the theater district, and a one- or two-block walk to three major subway lines to get anywhere else in the city. Our studio apartment was sufficiently roomy by NYC standards, clean and with a comfortable bed (although I would have preferred softer, less lumpy pillows). Daily towel and bed-making service was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen had a stove, microwave and half-size fridge. If I can get a reservation, this will definitely be my go-to...

Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel, le lit est super confortable, nous avions pris le studio Murphy il est largement assez grand avec sa petite cuisine pour se faire à manger. "This property is a renovated Lower East Side tenement building from the late 19th/early 20th century. It contains 20 or so units. The vibe is of a small hotel, though the front desk is virtual, so you really feel as if you're staying at your own pied-a-terre in the city. The room was well appointed and very clean. "The end of the bed is RIGHT by the front door, but tbh, it didn't hinder the charm and coziness of this place. Yeah it's a bit cramped, but we weren't in NYC to stay in our room. We loved that is was right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city. So many bodegas and pizza places and other food stops to browse within walking distance. "We enjoyed our stay at EVH. It was close to our son’s apartment as well as the subway and great restaurants. The area was totally safe and the staff we did see were very friendly. It was nice having a kitchenette. A suggestion would be to provide maybe some paper towels for the kitchen area or more than one kitchen towel. "
