The staff was friendly and the breakfast options plenty and tasty, although breakfast was not included. The hotel was clean and the room/bathroom was a nice size. There is an observation deck on the 19th floor of the hotel. Parking was assigned and behind a locked gate, although we felt completely safe walking around late at night. The Giacomo was only a 10-minute walk to the American Falls and to many dining options. We recommend visiting the falls at night, as well as during the day. At certain times of the year there are fireworks at 10 p.m. at the falls. Also, you can get a grrat view of the Canadian Falls walking straight across the bridge and then all the way to the left on the without paying for the American Observation deck/ Maid of the Mist boat ride. The Giacomo Hotel is perfectly situated for a relaxing and breath-taking stay.
